Recalling the basics:
1) action with increasing risk; simple movements first, than more risky action;
2) rethink about doing something very risky;
3) roll the fewer dice as possible;
4) complete the important action first, then the others;
5) beware of losing the players with fragile teams;
6) use re-roll wisely;

First thing I tell everyone that comes here... and I forget who told me... SPEC OTHER PEOPLE'S GAMES!!
You get the feel of how others play, how games go, the pace, the thought, you can think how YOU would do things and then see someone else either do better or fail miserably. It's a great way to kibbutz and not have anything on the line. Plus you can meet other folks from the site doing the same thing.
Matches for Major and Minor Championships are good draws, as are the occasional high CR matchup and/or legacy team throw-down.
Grats on the Award, btw... you're still here - that says something :)
