Str 6 vampire skill
My WIL vampire team just started its 1st season in Premiership. Got skill on my str 6 blodger vamp. Its a normal skill roll. Wondering what he should get. SF/SS? Pro? Tackle?

Maybe leap? Though his dodging is good already and Pro is rather useful for Vamps.

Retire. Final answer.

Tackle or Pro

Tackle! Let none escape your clutches!

Retire. Nobody should be allowed to have a blodging ST6 Vampire. It's blasphemy.

Pro, or Sure Hands and carry with him.

Probably Pro and just try to make the leap-strip guys suffer a -3d to get the ball with wide cages.

Break tackle?

If he is the ball carrier go with sure hands. (Just to thwart ball stripping elves.)

If you want him to hit dodgeless things go with mighty blow.

If you want him to go after the ball carrier choose tackle. (I would use the M8 vampire for this roll.)

Whatever you choose is a good choice.

Hmm, not good have face that monster in last round of the season. Maybe dead by then of, an early Chrimbo pressie

SF/SS why would you? How many people are going to go "lets block this STR 6 vamp, oh no he can choose which square he can go too.".

Now sure, if you get him into the corner of a cage someone might want to push him out... But I would not bother unless he had tackle.

So tackle and Pro are good choices. Guard could also work well, alternatively Multiple block and get a thrall or other vamp with Guard. Break tackle is also viable here.

As with vamps, you have way too many good choices.

Pro or Tackle.

And SS/SF are fine choices later anyway - one of the few ways of dealing with that vamp would be a -2d surf.

I don't have a ST6 vamp but my ST5 lacks of tackle as he is the one who hits the BC most of the time
So I will go for tackle instead of pro in this case

tackle is for thralls.

Pro is for everything. hit better, gfi better, pass better, pick up ball better, dodge better, catch better, intercept ball better, hypnotic gaze better, and no eat thrall better.

Mighty blow? (Then tackle as last skill? [works other way around too]).. also frenzy now (and ss/sf last skill) is kinda nice.
