Purdue kicks off their Rivalry with Bro-hio in epic fashion.
After the elves tear through the dwarf offensive line on the opening kick to steal the ball and score, things turned. The second elf kickoff saw a blitz, and a well played one at that. Purdue was barely able to regain any kind of position, though that would do little to help them. The elven Wardancers proved too agile and slick for the dwarf players, until Bro-hio's Tuf Borland slipped as he was heading into the endzone for what should have been a 2-0 runaway.

And then the dwarves got fired up. Suddenly, elven armor crumpled like leaves, and the stampede from Purdue saw them score in the closing moments of the half to tie the game. The elves opted against attempting to score quickly as the clock ran out, failing to have the numbers required for the attempt.

The second half began with 11 on 8. Purdue nailed a kick to the sideline, which drew the inferior numbers of elves into a weaker position. As the clock continued to click, the dwarves continued to crumple elf after elf, leading to a final casualty count of 5, with 4 of those being serious. The play of the game came late in regulation, when Tristan Stoneybrook unloaded some pent up frustration on the monster known as Malcolm Pridgeon and felled the massive Tree.

As Purdue scored the game winning TD, coach OTS vowed revenge for Bro-hio's first loss in school history.
