“I don't know why I keep showing up to play the stonesmashers. I should just pick a random player, fire them, and be done with the game. My lizards have never been able to hurt anything they hit and with virus taking out both DPs there was nothing left to do but watch the reserves bench empty as the casualty ward overflowed. I must be doing something wrong because every time the skinks face these dorfs they wind up with another butcher's bill. Anyone wants to give some pointers I'm more than happy to hear them.
Deciding who to award the points is once again hard, because no dwarf really had a bad game. Failed a couple of ballhandling rolls near the end, but aside from that, none of them made any spectacular blunders.
3 Points: #2 Nurrin Stoutlegs - Scored both touchdowns for the dwarves as well as a casualty when Zrndgeuaieu tried to stop the first, gets the points despite some second half ball handling problems.
2 Points: #9 Larni Leadhead - dauntless and stand firm with the de rigueur guard and mighty blow make this longbeard really irritating.
1 Point: #1 Kahn Rockarm - How does a skink hide from an ma 8 block/tackle/mighty blow dwarf? How does a dwarf team get an ma 8 player in the first place? Talk about feeling hunted.”

A virus striking the lizards two Dirty Players out made a world of difference in evening the numbers, then the dwarves made them uneven very shortly. Not enough to hold back the talented and agile runty gits of the Slumbering Skinks ballrunning abilities, as with few players on the pitch they ran through the dwarven holes to put the game out of reach.
