This little skink had a real break out in season 8. 6 games for 127 rushes, 8 touchdowns, and 29 spp scored him the Golden Slipper, Golden Ball, and Golden Star.
A quiet season 9, but he picked up his 5th skill (block) with a pass in the last turn against the stonesmashers and avoided aging yet again. Welcome to the SWL Hall of Fame.
Once the undisputed scoring champion on the team, Xies-ler-aym now lends his skills to helping his less talented teammates improve, controlling the backfield play superbly.
Despite gaining just 5 spp during the skinks return to Premier in season 12 from an mvp award, the impact this little skink makes on any match he plays was officially recognised as he was awarded the Golden Twahnlow. He now has just one more career goal, to lead his fellow lizards to the top of the premier table.
Not much credit in season 13 as the skinks fell 2 points short of eventual victors the Vanguard, Xies did still top the runners list for premier with another golden slipper.
Xies tried hard, but he just wasn't quite able to lift the lizards to conference victory in season 15, season 16 this ever fresh skink will be scampering around again.
Niggled aging on his 6th skill roll after 97 games. Ok, well at least it'll be easier to sack him end of season now. He's still got to play his 100th match though.
Seasons 19 and 20 were all about Xies. Played his 100th match in season 19 and over the two seasons (11 out of a possible 14 games given a virus and 2 failed niggles) gained around 80 spp to become a legend. Plans to retire now and let the other lizards begin to rebuild and take ownership of the franchise.
Live by the sword, die by the sword. Well Xies actually lived by the slippers so he figures the applicable variation is to put on a pair and relax in a comfy lounge enjoying retirement.
