When is a rookie a severe disappointment? When you're less than a day away from the start of the Fumbbl Cup, and have to hire a rookie to replace a tackle/guard/claw/rsc storm vermin in the prime of his career...

At least his first skill was a double, just like his predecessor...make that his first TWO skills doubles, which is one better than the last rat to bear the name, who took three skills to sharpen his claws to razor calibre. Looks like we're about ready for the next FC qualifier to start!

After a pathetic performance in the FC first round, it's back to the grind stone. Wakizashi was so dejected, he didn't even cause a single cas. In an effort to cheer up their favorite, the team's fans voted him MVP and showered him with gifts as he left the pitch...this seems to have done the trick, as he has rededicated himself to being a true professional and continuing the fight, prepping for next year's FC! (Passed his 76 spp aging roll.)

Musta worked, too, b/c he got 4 cas in each of the next two games!

In the mother of all matches, Wakizashi gave as good as he could, before a vicious gangfoul destroyed his knee for life. Given his huge salary cap figure and the team's precarious roster of personnel, it was decided to let this monster retire to the first peace he's known since joining the team oh so many games ago. Find yourself a nice, fat rat wife, Wak, we'll hold a roster slot open for any children you may sire!
