The nickname originates from his propensity for setting things on fire. In fact, it is part of why this orc is so tough - all the fights that ensued after burning down barrels, carts, pets, homes, shops, you name it.
After setting ablaze the home of an influential Shaman, he was given an ultimatum - join the 'Saws (the Shaman's "favourite" team, and by favourite he means he enjoys watching the team's players die) or be hunted and killed. Scorcha opted for the latter and disposed of his assailants, but it sparked an interest that resulted in him signing for us anyway, wanting to experience the thrill of being a Blood Bowl player!
This adrenaline junkie quickly became an important player for the 'Saws and his crazy nature has fueled many Chainsaw victories.
