There is very little room for modesty on the fields of Blood Bowl let alone much for any sport in the Old World. However there is no team which likes to flaunt its own ego than Elves, and the High Elves are by far the most arrogant of them all. But even then the Ulthuan Swift Blades would make even the most egotistical elf turn green with envy at their wealth, skill and dedication to their sport. Then again, most other races tend to not take kindly of the arrogant demeanor of the High Borne, but this comes to no surprise to them. Fed up watching at the incompetence and simplistic nature of the other teams, Alyan Miththaler used the immense finances at his families disposal to found his own team. Equipped with the best armour and some of the finest players Ulthuan has to offer in the form of Dragon, Phoenix and Lion Warriors, the Ulthuan Swift Blades have high hopes for the future. Though as anyone who is experienced with the history of Blood Bowl, the sport itself is neither forgiving nor merciful and no amount of wealth is enough when push comes to shove.
