Bouncin'more was a quiet little village, full of quiet little frogs. Surrounded as they were by leagues of jungle and swamp full of nasty and aggressive lizardmen (who left the Slann alone), the Slann of Bouncin'more were happy to live their lives peacefully.

But one day, more-or-less, the lizards started to thin out, and then disappear altogether. Unbenownst to the villagers of Bouncin'more, a major invasion and defiling of many Lizardman cities, towns and temples by a nearly endless number of (what they would learn later to be) Chaos warriors caused their lizard guardians to disappear.

Into this power vacuum came the 'raiders'. Treasure hunters, defilers, opportunists of all sorts. The Norse were first. Then Orcs. Humans. A variety of Elves. All eager to pillage and ransack Bouncin'more on their way to bigger and better loot.

The Slann were desparate. Waging war didn't seem an option, as the village was poor and, quite frankly, not at all warlike. But they needed to do something. So scouting parties (which the Slann were quite adept at in the swampy terrain) were sent out to determine if the invaders had any sort of weakness they could exploit.

And LO! So it was that the Slann of Bouncin'more became aware of Bloodbowl. Seems most invading forces included a team of these bloodthirsty 'players' for entertainment. And, amazingly, most would rather watch a good bloody game of Bloodbowl than ransack a poor village for some clothing scraps and a pile of fish.

And so, village Elder Johhn Harbog recruited a team and challenged the next group of invaders to a match. Although the team lost badly, with their bloodlust satiated the invaders moved on, leaving Bouncin'more intact. And thus the Bouncin'more Batrachians were born.

Since their early days however the Slann have discovered they have a unique gift for the game. After giving up trying to play like the teams they had spied upon, the Slann started to win some games. And then win a few more. And even make some money. Before they knew it, they had the cash to equip the team right and carve a simple stadium out of the surrounding swamp to play in. Now Bouncin'more draws more Bloodbowl teams and fans than invaders, and eventually they even earned a ticket into the NWFL.

NWFL Season V Recap: The Batrachians had a solid 9/2/3 season, easily qualifying for the playoffs by winning the Alpha Conference. They faced tough opponents but managed to gain entry to the Superior Bowl in their inaugural season. Their high hopes were dashed by poor play, bad luck, and some serious Orc Attitude to deny them the Superior Bowl victory.

NWFL Season VI Recap: A difficult 6/3/5 season saw the Batrachians barely squeak into the playoffs where they were promptly bounced by the St. Louis Yams.
NWFL Season VII Recap: The Bouncin'more franchise sat this last-minute unplanned 'season' out.
NWFL Season VIII Recap: Another lackluster season full of brutal matches and frustrating events which turn match results in their opponents favor leads to a 5/5/4 record and sitting at home throughout the playoffs.
NWFL Season XIV Recap: After getting crushed their first match of the season, the Batrachians virtually ran the table (12-1-1!) and qualified for the playoffs as the AWC #1 seed. They survived some tough playoff matches to make to the Superior Bowl for the second time. They got absolutely brutalized by the Dwarf squad Victo Power Racing, but pulled out a miracle victory anyway. Season XIV Superior Bowl Champions!!
