Roster [Q] High Elf

People should really stop whining about Elf teams that only play other Elf teams at high rankings in Faction. There are good reasons for it. First, bashy teams last longer at high Team Ratings because they have better armor and because they inflict more damage on weaker opponents. Second, there seems to be a higher percentage of coaches with small weiners who play bashy teams designed to inflict pain rather than to win the game above all else.

Here is the case study of my team....over the last seven games I have played the following teams: Ogres (1), High Elf (1), Undead (3), Orc (1), and Dwarf (1). Before playing this stretch of games, 7/16 of my games had been against nonbashy teams like elves or zons (these women are nonbashy if not played by Britnoth :p). In that time I was fouled a total of 3 times. In the past seven games I played, one Undead team fouled me 3 times and niggled a catcher, the Orc team fouled me 6 times causing only 1 CAS, and the Dwarf team proceed to choose pushbacks instead of pows, despite having MB, on at least two occassions to push out line elves with one or no skills after the game was well out of hand because they said they "needed that player off the field" as opposed to trying to get SPPs from injuring them. Luckily only one died. So why exactly would an elf coach want to play teams that are bashy? Elves are expensive, and this is faction. When you get to higher rounds there are limited opponents in limited time zones....my point is that many people won't play you more than once if you act like a tool.

5/5/05, happy Cinco de Mayo!! The Guild becomes the highest STR high elf team on FUMBBL (and the 9th strongest of all teams) and my first team over 300 TR at 303/285. w00t
