Having spread disease and decay for several decades, the great champion of Nurgle Puswound Slimetrail decided to settle down and preach his religion through Nuffles sacred game, Blood Bowl! He had plenty of followers, so for him it was only a matter of selecting the vilest and most hideous of all his minions, and thus creating his very own team "Slippery Beasties"! He found that the game of Blood Bowl was very unforgiving, and his followers soon had to be replaced by new and able warriors of the Lord of Decay, creating a flow of talent in his ranks ... But Puswound cared not, for his was the greatest of tasks, playing and winning the Blood Bowl in the name of Nurgle, Grandfather of all that is sick and dying, not caring for those in the way of his crusade ... And who could have known that he would fail. Dying of shame Puswound retired to the oozing mires of the Chaos Wastes, seeking inspiration and forgiveness with Father Nurgle himself. After years of begging and crawling he was granted another chance by the God of Disease, and he once more set off to conquer the fabled trophy of the Blood Bowl ... and thus were born "Pustulent Aftermath"! HAIL TO NURGLE, HAIL TO THE GRANDFATHER OF DISEASE, HAIL! "Gentlecreatures our pretties... now is the time to sing the songs of fate, for the moment has come for the Dance of Death!" <STRONG>210306</STRONG> - surely a disastrous day for the team. 2 of the best players had to retire due to being manhandled by some rodents (take a look at the <A HREF="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=1133778">disaster</A>), resulting in niggling injuries for both of them. As the longest playing member of the team, with 53 matches, <A HREF="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=2739099">Intestine</A> will surely be missed. Both for his skills and his devotion. May both of you go forever pustulent! The day saw another tragedy, as <A HREF="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=2739096">Boil</A> first beat Intestine's 53 games record with 1, and then had to be put down due to old age. He served the team well while he was with us, even though he was a weak little goat. Join Nurgle at his throne! <STRONG>260306</STRONG> - Another tragedy hits the team, as <A HREF="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=2786039">Anorexia</A> is abruptly taken away from us by a filthy little rodent. He surely was an inspiration to the rest of the team, and there is bound to be much grief ... but we all know that he earned himself a place next to our Father. Go with pestilence! |
