In first four games had two mummies slain. We're going to find out who the embalmers were all those years ago and get their families. Maybe even sack their village, who knows?


The ancient Necromancer Abenzafer Dogrola finally stood in front of that which he for so long had sought after; the fabled Necropolis of Nuffle. Kept hidden deep in the ashlands of the Chaos Wastes, the Necropolis contained the spirits of every Blood Bowl player that had even once offered up a quick prayer to any of the Chaos gods.

Abenzafer had spent two hundred years looking for the Necropolis. He had instructed his best non-ambitious pupil on what needed to be done, and even now Abenzafer hoped his student in the two centuries of preparation had readied the precise corpses needed if the Necromancer succeeded in his theft of certain souls.

It was two hundred and one years ago that Abenzafer Dogrola almost lost his sanity. Not that someone who could transfer his soul/spirit from his decaying mortal body into any unliving vessel was altogether rational in their own day to day, week to week activities.

At the insistence of a Lahmian Enchantess that he was courting at the time ,he attended an Xusian Rot-Sox vs. Skaven Strafers Chaos Cup semi-final match at Mortuary Arena. He was hooked. Gone were dreams of carving out an empire, How boring! He was going to create and coach his own Blood Bowl team! He had all the time in the world to learn tactics, it was just a matter of actually finding the talent worthy enough to put on the pitch without getting laughed off. It was going to take some time.

Abenzafer spent a year travelling from library to library, scribing strategy and tactics from those who had gone before him into his own personal journal that grew and grew and grew. When he wasn't haunting the libraries of the major cities, he was attending Blood Bowl matches, the higher the caliber of play the better. He wrote down different defensive and offensive formations and what seemed to work against each, although he noticed a preponderence of orc and chaos teams at the high levels of play.
