Once the proud Ulthuan Silver Hawks, this teams glorious past ended when a child labour scandal forced the Silver Hawks (and their booming fan carpet industry) to the brink of bankruptcy. The only way out of this dilemma was to accept a very low bid from Wissenburg Ham, suppliers of the finest ham south-west of Nuln.

Rebranded as the Wissenburg Ham Fighters, the team was threatened a second time, due to most of the seasoned players throwing themselves off a cliff in disgust of this turn of events. The few and inexperienced rookie elves, hoping to earn enough salary to buy a ticket home to Ulthuan, are now roaming the southern Empire, prodded to spread mayhem and the reputation of the new line of "I can't believe it's not meat!" ham of Wissenburg Ham.
