| Throughout the history of this great nation, there have been many presidents, and eve more patriots. Clearly not all patriots were presidents, and not all presidents have been patriots. For this reason, there are two catagories of players on this team. Clearly, not every former president is considered heroic after undergoing the scrutiny of history. Indeed, some are considered near tyrants and villains. Yet what I believe is important to remember is that each of these men had strong views of their country. And even the most vile can be credited with nuggets of wisdom, that our nation would be well served to remember. To this end, if these men were not patriots, they must at least be considered patriotic. The other players on this team were never elected president of this country. Still, they have contributed just as much as their elected counterparts. For me, these are men consider by most to be patriots.
