Evo's Guide To Designing Stunty Leeg Teams

Why should you listen to anything I have to say?

What are my criteria for a well designed Stunty Leeg Proposal?

Stunty Leeg has seen a large number of proposals. I've frequently dissected new proposals based on 3 criteria: Fluff, Uniqueness, and Novel playing style. In summary they must be FUN. I feel I should give an explanation of why these 3 criteria guided Stunty Leeg expansion for so long and why they are so important to me.

  • Fluff Games Workshop (the makers of Blood Bowl) are reknown for their extensive backgrounds to their games. Blood Bowl is played in a parallel universe of the popular Warhammer Fantasy World. Blood Bowl also has a rich background. Stunty Leeg has been firmly grounded in this universe. That's what helps give it such enormous charm.
  • Unique Stunty Leeg was designed to give Blood Bowl coaches a light-hearted break from the more serious Blood Bowl. In the Stunty Leeg you could try also sorts of wild and wacky plays that you'd never think of doing in the more serious parts of FUMBBL. At it's core it started with a very simple and mayhemful skill: Stunty. The Leeg's expansion was then guided by adding more teams with unique and mayhemful schticks.
  • Novel Playing Style At it's heart, Stunty is meant to be radically different from normal Blood Bowl. And team design has always played a role in heightening this difference. Four different kinds of elves with marginally different skills? That may be fine for a normal league, but Stunty strives to be different and so should Stunty Leeg Proposals.
