Stunty League Central

Welcome to SLC! From this page you can find any and all pertinent information relating to the Stunty League (or Stunty Leeg as it is commonly known)! It was created to compile and organize the various bits of information on Stunty which can also be found in the User Guide and the Stunty Leeg forums.

So what is the Stunty Leeg?

The Stunty Leeg is a FUMBBL community-created experimental league. It began with the Living Rule Book (LRB) and the orignal stunty teams (Goblin and Halfling), but now is comprised solely of rosters exclusive to the FUMBBL Stunty Leeg (including Gnomes, Horrors of Tzeentch, Albion Fae and many more!). See further down for all of the playable races now available.

Stunty is not as serious as other leagues, and is often mockingly called the "Stunty Leeg". Fun and mayhem are the key aims here! The average game tends to include several nasty Big Guys, wild amounts of Secret Weapons and Stunty players flying all over the place! It tends to feature high body counts and spectacularly daring plays! You shouldn't grow terribly attached to your players (or your whole team for that matter!), as a lucky Snotling Pump Wagon could tear through your entire roster at any minute (but said Snotling Pump Wagon is also just as likely to veer wildly off the pitch and into the crowd, killing itself and countless spectators!). Such wild and wacky events are the essence of Stunty and if you want to get the most out of playing here you will have to learn to enjoy such mayhem, even if you are on the receiving end!

If you can can get yourself into this "Stunty Spirit" you are pretty much guaranteed to have a blast!

Official Tournaments

The Stunty Leeg currently sanctions the following four major tournaments:

  • The Exploding Cup: One of Stunty Leeg's Major Tournaments, The Exploding Cup is contested by the winners of the Exploding Cup Qualifiers and any teams lucky enough to be hand picked in the second-chance draw! Only Rookie teams may apply, and it takes place in February.
  • Fighting Cockrel Classic: The FCC is one of FUMBBL's Major Tournaments and will be contested by the winners of the FCC: Qualifiers and any teams lucky enough to be hand picked in the second-chance drawing. All Stunty teams may apply, and it takes place in May.
  • Stunty Cup: The biggest of them all, a no-holds barred, win-at-all-cost KO Tournament held every August.
  • Necromiser's Nightmare: A one month tournament culminating in a lottery draw for the final four KO round that takes place in October.

The Stunty Leeg has been home to several other tournaments and events over the years:

Other Stunty Madness

Stunty Compendium and Playtesting

Stunty Leeg is a living rules set and is therefore constantly evolving and changing! To check out some of the many other Stunty team designs and ideas that users have come up with (or to add your own ideas) head to the Stunty Compendium! This is also where you can find information on playtesting to help provide useful information and feedback as part of the design process.

History of the Stunty Leeg

The best source of information regarding the early history of the Stunty Leeg was penned by EvolveToAnarchism. It is largely autobiographical due to his central involvement in Stunty development, but makes for an interesting read if you want to know about how Stunty Leeg came to be! Without further ado, check out A History of the Development of the Stunty Leeg.
