BACKGROUND

The Fumbbl Bloodbowl Association, in association with the Extra-Sensory Perception Network and the Grotty Little Newspaper are proud to present the Fumbbl Cup IV

The Fumbbl Cup is the largest annual tournament sanctioned by the FBBA and features 32 teams clashing in 31 epic matches, all broadcast live to your nearest ESP hub.

We bring you the best coaches, the best teams, the living legends and the most enthusiastic newcomers in this the most lavishly sponsored tournament of the League.

Compete for fabulous prizes and eternal glory in the Fumbbl Cup IV. Spectate high-risk, high-reward games and vote for the Team of the Tournament!

PRIZES All teams that make it through the qualifying rounds will partake in the prizes! Just winning your Qualifier will boost your Fan Factor by one point. After every round you win, the FBBA generously awards you a monetary sum to do with as you please. For the first round this is 20000 gold, for the second 25000, after the quarter finals you are awarded 35000 gold, and advancing to the final game wins you 50000 gold. The tournament's final winner gains a stunning 100000 gold pieces, a Potion of Health (removes all injuries from one player), and of course their Fan Factor will increase by one.

There will also be a Spectators' Team of the Tournament Award, voted on by the FUMBBL Community. This will go to the most-liked/loathed team. The team that made the most spectacular plays and pulled off the most surprising victories, or the meanest and the dirtiest team responsible for killing off various legends in the course of the tournament, or whatever catches the community's fancy. The winner of the vote will receive 50000 gold pieces and +1 Fan Factor.

ELIGIBILITY

The Fumbbl Cup is one of FUMBBL's Major Tournaments. All [R]] teams are eligible to play. To find out how to qualify and where to apply, read on.

FORMAT

The Fumbbl Cup will be preceded by 32 qualifying tournaments. The winner of each of these will gain 1 Fan Factor and be admitted into the prestigious final tournament.

The 32 qualifying teams will face off to each other in a 32-team Bi-weekly KO Tournament which will determine the Fumbbl Cup's eventual winner.

QUALIFICATION

There will be 16 Quick Start 8 team KO Qualifiers. You can apply to join them here.

There will also be 16 Bi-weekly 8 team KO Qualifying Tournaments. These will be divided into four categories, each of which will host 4 Qualifiers.

• Qualifiers with priority given to Coach Ranking
• Qualifiers with priority given to Team Rating
• Qualifiers with priority given to the swiftest applicants
• Qualifiers with priority given to the number of games the team has played
