To enforce turn time limit rules, the JBB client has the ability to disable the selection or actions of players after a turn has taken longer than four minutes. This rule is enabled in the Ranked and Faction divisions. Depending on the setup of specific groups, it might also be enabled in certain League games.
Note that some player skills (e.g. Side Step, Diving Tackle) or game actions (e.g. Apothecary) may require your opponent to make a decision during your turn. When this happens, the client will pause the clock for your turn until the opponent makes their decision.
Also note that the turn does not automatically end after four minutes. You will not be able to select players or take actions with them, but you do still have to end your turn explicitly. If you need to take care of a real life emergency (baby diapers, cats on fire, etc) you can take care of that before ending your turn without risking a timeout on your next turn. (It is highly recommended that you inform your opponent before doing this.)
