I don't particularly mind the Claws on CDs. PO is the broken skill in the ruleset, IMO, not Claw. |
Agreed Maysrill, PO is broken not Claw. |

Yeah we all know PO is as broken as a .... very broken thing. But in this rule set everyone can have PO with St access. Only a few races get the magic ingredient which is Claw, yeah on its own it blows, with MB its very good and with MB PO its just daft. But why give Cds access to this skill when they can compete with every race in the game without it and win with the probable exception of Nurgle and Chaos (and even then we are just making an educated guess), why give CDs Claw but not dwarves, or Orcs, or Lizardmen ( i dont think these races should get it btw). How come they are the only av9 team to get it and not only that they start with Block + Tackle?
It just seems wierd to me is all :s |

SeƱores won a major but they had only one claw in the team, so I don't think it was a factor. In fact the key were his 2 outstanding hobgoblins and the casualties respecting them.
I think CD are as powerful as in Lrb4, what happened is that orcs and dwarfs are far worse. |

From the data gathered by Plasmoid we can say to a 95% confidence interval that the mean win% for CDs in leagues is between 49.6% and 58.3% (53.98 over 490 games) based on LRB6 data alone. Factor in the LRB5 stuff and the range becomes 49.15% to 54.29% (51.72 over 1452 games), which is entirely inside the required 45-55% range.
From FUMBBL CRP data (up to Oct 11) we can say that CDs have a win% between 53.85% and 55.59% (again to 95CI for 54.72% over 12534 games) - third overall after Amazons and WE, and just ahead of Skaven at 54.70%.
So I think the question really becomes, do they need a nerf? The answer appears to be "no". |

I retire teams that enter the CPOMB zone for a reason. The game is stupidly boring once you enter it. |

I'm pretty sure not all your 20-odd teams were ClawPOMB fearing.
Are you sure it's not just you who retires teams en-masse? |

yes, we don't want our big guys to have 6ST blitzes, extra movement, extra agility, access to mutations, frenzy, thick skull, and never lose their tackle zones. |
