Also getting traits on a 7 has the same odds as getting traits on doubles, except when you get them on doubles they also contend with the +MA/+AV option on double 5s, and the +ST option on double 6s, along with the doubles skills in general. |

There was never +AV as an option in LRB 4, so it's a little unfair to run the "CRaP" line over that...
LRB had Spikes, which was on a double - so 30 is a fair price.
Personally, I don't think Dwarves and Orcs need buffing against CPOMB - it's the only thing they need to fear.
It;s like banning kryptonite in matches -vs- superman.
Either that or ban dwarves and orcs, then you could do what you want with +MA. |

i see the claw as the problem. make claw +1 on all av rolls and use different apos for long term cas balancing if needed |

let's face it. the problem here is the ability of some teams to spam claw.
at high av this makes them entirely unbalanced as a team. |

I hate the fluff behind current claw, but I love the mechanics. +2 is perfect in my opinion, it's a great skill. Probably should be a double or a trait though. |

i think that CRP had the great idea of wrestle skill, so it made one rock/paper/scissors scheme less annoying (as you can take down blodgers with wrestle and so there is less chance of losing to a blodge spam), this claw: great vs av9, ok vs av8 nothing vs av7 just opened another of that.
one can argue about pomb and the balance of that (as we do all the time ) but seeing orcs or lizardmen or even dwarves play vs chaos nowadays is sad...
i agree pythhr that keeping it a double would have been better (chaos team design is even worse now - terrible at low tv, but due to all Strength and mutation access plus great statlines on the warriors too good at high tv) |

+AV should mean something, no matter who blocks you. It's questionable even without the existence of claw. What are you hoping... to get knocked over and have your opponent roll a 9, so you can use it? But in an environment with easy claw access it is even less useful. I never take +AV.
Funny though, +AV is nice for PO players. Go ahead foul me! |

I have taken Think Skull on a BG and been very happy with it.
After all, Think Skull is the only skill which assists against the injury roll, rather than the armour roll. |

Regenerate assists pretty well vs the injury roll I would say |
