The Agility Monsters will face Pirates du Reika, a rookie human team (one blitzer with Guard so far) led by coach MikYahel into his second FUMBBL match.
Walkover? Not sure - it's the Monsters after all. I hope I can give the lad a warm welcome to the tournament scene though.

FUMBBL Cup XII Did You Know?

There are 267 pretenders entering the FUMBBL Cup XII. This means to win the cup most teams must conquer 8 opponents, and an unlucky 22 must play 9.
The most represented race is Chaos (23) and least represented is Amazons (1). There are no unrepresented races in this year's FUMBBL Cup. The most respresented forlorn races are Necromantic and Undead (20). Statistics courteousy of Shraaag.
The Crossdressers fail to make an appearance at a Major. A clerical error by the coach mean the Bluuudy Braggers unexpectedly find themselves on a quest for glory. Coach Dhaktokh was puzzled, "I swear I put the right papers in my handbag!" Perhaps one of his players switched purses.
There is no such thing as karma, as evidenced by this match. (Unless Nuffle wants to show us otherwise!)
The only previous winners to enter this year are the Ultimate Superheroes, albeit decidedly less super following their Lustrian semi-final wipeout (all 11 casualties) including the summary execution of Mr Fantastic who achieves legendhood in his final performance.
Other Major winners in the draw include Tiny Steel Hammers and Lone Stars. (Please correct me in the comments if I missed any.) |

I worked it out for all teams playing official tournaments in Ranked and Box Divisions during 2013 that at least won 2 matches in a single tornament.
for coaches i did also consider Stunty majors.
I plan to publish at the end of the year Team and Coach Rankings for 2013, kind of ATP ranking idea. |

Best match-up of 2nd round is clearly Sithi D Team vs. Hot 5tuff. For one thing, it'll probably be a bloody affair, as matches between soft teams often ironically turn out to be. For another, we are probably going to see, like, 11 TDs minimum. Or maybe not. But at any rate it means that one loathed WE team is going to be out in 2nd round.  |
