I know the team revolves around the deathroller but do you reckon you could incorporate the "torrent gate" AKA the waterfall into the logo in some way.

Dunenzed looks as though he is pulling out of CBBA. He is offering to finish the season, however, I am going to try and get Angryman set up as he is the first substitute.

Rabid, you'll then move into first substitute position, but if no one vacates we're going to need to find a few other keen players at the end of the season (which is still a while away).

Not a problem Rabid I will head back to the drawing board so to speak. So what elements would you like aside from the waterfall?

So the dragons curse still going strong.

The game against Hochland Outlaws, started with a elf going off on the first turn.. then followed by the Outlaws conceding not one but two, turnover towchdowns in the first half, Dragons fans were excited because they were thinknig that this may be the game the breaks their terrible streak. But alas the second half started and within a few turns four players were off the field with 2 of them serious and 1 dead, with the outlaws easily outnumbering the few remaining players and getting two touchdowns themselves

And only one of the casualties was a foul (the referee was looking the other way as well). The Outlaws clearly felt they needed the numbers advantage so were desperate towards the end of the first half and fouling like crazy. Turns out it didn't matter with one more serious injury and a death following quickly in the second half.

Round 2 Wrap Up
Debby Demonbreeder – Sports Reporter for the Altdorf Daily

Round 2 Wrap Up

Oh boy, what a round 2. There’s so much pressure this season to get to a bowl game with the extra division, you just about have to be perfect. A few of the top guns are looking anything but.

In group A, the Unicors had a glorified practice session, this time managing to dispatch the Fighting Cocks 5-0 in a record scoreline since the merger. The stunties didn’t manage to lay the boot in nearly enough while Cromtour tore them apart with vicious hitting. Meanwhile, the Bulls momentum has been stopped by the Gunners who are finally showing their potential. The 2-0 victory was lead by Per Murdersacker with 11 yards rushing and 10 blocks. Clearly, the Bulls struggled without their captain and lynchpin the Ox.

In group B, the Chevaliers made it two from two with a solid victory over the struggling Harlequins 2-1. It was a real team effort from the Brettonians to edge out a hard fought victory. Meanwhile, coach Mathfuric will have to go back to the drawing board with the team once again being belted off the pitch. The other result in Group B is far more disappointing with the Panthers struggling to make another away trip. An investigation into the forfeited match is underway.

Group C - The Phoenix are showing that they may be a contender this season with a huge 3-0 victory over the Stallions, who by all accounts played poorly. The Stallions failed to make their strength advantage account, being out beaten and out balled by the skillfull high elves. The Bears join the Phoenix at the top of the table with a 2-1 victory over the Eagles in a game between the two bowl losers. The Great Eagles failed to keep players on the pitch, but still fought valiantly to the end. The game was marked with the death of Oakenrun, which could potentially be the turning point for the Eagles on the way back down to the also-runs.

In Group D we had two draws in what is becoming the closest division of the lot. The Buccaneers managed to fight their way to a 2-1 lead inflicting heavy blows on the Griffins. In a stroke of luck, the determined Griffins players fought back to grab a late 2-2 draw, perhaps luckily considering the Buccaneers performance. The Yhetti’s displayed courage in their 1-1 draw with the favoured Crusaders. The Yhetti’s have now drawn with two Imperial (well sort of) heavyweights and are displaying signs they are a well coached team to look out for in the future. The Crusaders performance was considerably better with Theo Rover taking a leadership role in hitting the Yhettis from the pitch. Still, they need to overcome the dominance of individuals and work as a team if they are going to ever be a title threat.

Finally, in Group E, the Anvils played their hand as the grinding team and fought out a 2-0 victory over a struggling Outlaws. The Anvils are obviously going to be a better team than predicted, but it remains to be seen how they’ll approach games against the elves. Meanwhile, the Outlaws are desperate to gain some momentum after losing their first two games easily – the verdict is still out in Hotchland as to whether they should have joined up. In the other game, the Scorpions have come together and are showing their talent with a 4-0 victory over a still depleted Dragons. The Scorpions dominated the match from the outset and ruthlessly dispatched of the weakened elves. They’re on their way to become the big threat for the CBBA Bowl.

Griffins Behind Anvils Success? Coach Tomay Blasts Rivals

There are rumours circulating today that the Griffins have helped the Anvils in their preparation for the game against the Scorpions. In a desperate attempt to halt the momentum of their bitter rivals, the Griffins are rumored to have provided funding for an upgrade to the Anvil's training facilities. According to an un-named source, the Griffins even hired and sent down a specialist coach to help the Anvils. Naturally, Scorpions fans are up in arms claiming the Griffins were encouraging the Anvils to cheat their way to victory. The Anvils managed to surprise the Scorpions with a 2 all draw.

In other news out of Altdorf, coach Tomay has launched an attack on the Urslo University Bears coach DrDiscoStu. In a press conference, Tomay was quoted as saying “the Bears are having a lucky run, but they are not a great university like the Griffins. It’s just a matter of time before it all falls to pieces and their success is forgotten. They won’t go down in the history books, no one remembers 2nd place.”

Coach Tomay did not stop there however, when asked about the new Brettonian team and their early success he responded by laughing and asking “who are you talking about? I haven’t been following that dismal excuse for a touring division - they may as well not exist.”

Yes great write up. The Yetees paid dearly for that draw with a death and a forced retirement plus a MNG which hurt for the next round.

Coach of Griffins "terrified" of Urslo
Article Featured in the Urslo Press

Urlso's start to the season has been in contrast to a lot of the richer universities. The news just got better this week with the head coach of the Griffins, Tomay, admitting he was scared of Urlso. He made a string of insults directed towards Urlso only two weeks before the touring phase of the CBBA was accounted.

"It is no secret that the Griffins run the league" said CBBA Expert Eduardo Paz, "If Tomay is willing to antagonise the most ferocious side, it is clear the Griffins have ensured they will not be playing in the same division. To go to such trouble shows they are terrified of this match up."

A leading body language expert Sergio Kesby agreed "The way that Tomay's voices breaks when he made these comments, combined with the rapid head movement and the accidental urination of his pants shows this is forced, he is trying to put on a brave face but he is clearly scared of what consequences these comments could bring."

All eyes now fall towards the match up against the Phoenix, with many predicting this to be the game of the season.
