SWL 56 Round 4 Axe
Premier League
All clear
Froster's Conference
All clear
Dropbear Bitter Conference
All clear
Snorri's Regional
All clear
Another round goes by with barely a whisper.
Prem is starting to look like Faulcons to lose with Tomay Bobs and Smegish outside chances to knock him off.
Frosters looks a race of 3 to make prem next season with Chavo Erickan and Dazedmw leading the pack.
Rabid_Bogscum sits clear in Dropbear conference with a cluster of chasers vying for a prem spot next season.
Reggies again is throwing up a range of results with Pjj showing how the ladies do it and Semitence stopping everyone from having fun except him.
Keep smiling. |

What do you mean? 3 Strength 4 blodgers is a totally reasonable amount especially paired with an AG 4 blodger. |

I agree, S4 blodge is totally overrated. |

There's only two strength four blodgers!
For now... that thrower will get block next time she skills up. |

Whilst we're talking about AG/ST increases, the Sentinels got their first one after 29 games.
I now have (after he recovers from his broken ribs) a 8447 Catch, Dodge player.
What's his best role? Ball carrier? Sweeper? Cage corner? |

Depends on his next two rolls. If you get doubles in there then he takes Mighty Blow together with block (or wrestle if you really want to and you get MB first) and you build up another sweeper. Add on Strip if you like it and then Tackle maybe. You can go with Guard instead of MB if you're boring and want another guard but it seems like a waste of S4.
Re: Wrestle I'd rather have another catcher that is strictly Dodge/Wrestle/Tackle/Strip rather than spreading the ball popping skills around, just so that I can protect one guy I need when I'm on defense (hopefully on the bench) and so he isn't a hugely bloaty target with MB and SS and other unnecessary skills for his role.
Helves really don't want to be hanging around with a ball carrier that is open to blitzing, especially if you don't have a few guards, so your play should usually be flood the frontfield with receivers, step up and throw next turn to whoever is open and then either score or stall if you can find a safe pocket. So you don't really need that guy who can act as a runner. |

Anything he wants, basically. High move S4 A4 blodge/wrodge is amazing. Great ball sacker on D, great at breaking through lines on offense, great ball carrier (although pretty soon you won't want him hogging all SPP). |

Another reason you wouldn't develop him into a dedicated ball carrier (use him in a pinch though).
And yeah, roll +AG, then take block, then try not to get fouled. |

Get him block then side step then tackle or frenzy.
He can carry the ball still, but he will be a machine. |

I hate you all with your stat increases. May they all die a quick and horrible death.
Either that or

+1
St5 blodge of nothing...
St4 blodge is ok, but it really needs Ag6 to get full use out of it. |

What are the expected ratios on injury types guys?
I really can't be bothered even thinking about it. but probability wise, after 100cas what should the break down of BH, SI and RIPS be? |
