Maybe that was Nuffle trying to subtly suggest that you should now consider something more reptilian as your team of choice, hmmm (?). |

Further to this Shiny's coach hasn't logged in for days and hasn't replied to my messages.
Round 6 is due Monday? I have lost track. |

Add swladmin to your PM in a timely fashion, Dazed, message boards and chat don't count, the Captain has fried computer and may not be back any time soon, and you don't really have to hang around forever waiting for a response. Round 6 is indeed due Monday 18th. |

Righteo, thanks to Nuffle's rather enjoyable Sunday bounty, I'm officially putting the pressure on.
Grump/Sam has to get some points off Smegish
and
Faulcon needs to get at least one win off his next two games
All possible (even likely) but I want to say that if I somehow get my lucky fingers on that Prem cup I will NEVER shut up about being the champ/stripped of the title/interim titles etc.
Just want to be clear |

Who has what it takes to go all the way?
The BOB BORC CUP
Go Hard or Go Home!
When this season ends, SWL will be holding the inaugural Bob Borc Cup, a KO tournament for all active SWL teams.
The rules are as follows:
- Current SWL League Teams Only (including parked teams)
- Cup rounds drawn randomly
- All rounds will be a strict 1 week, no extension from the Monday Night 10pm SWLtime deadline
- Forfeits (if any) will be decided by the Axeman according to PM thread information, or by Coin Toss.
- Normal scheduling rules apply except that you won’t know your next opponent until they play
- Promotions and Relegations from last season will not be affected and will apply for the next season as usual
- First round byes will be random, with drafting teams ineligible
- The Cup is OPT OUT. If you do not wish to participate, please send a parking PM to Tomay
Important information:
- There will be special Green Twahnlows awarded at the completion of the cup
- Coaches who wish to draft for season 66 will have the chance during the semi-finals of the Cup, and from thence play their ToB as normal.
- Racial caps are lifted for the purposes of unparking teams but only for the cup. These caps will be reintroduced at the beginning of season 66, so teams will be forced to park again on a LIFO basis (last in, first out)
- Divisional promotion/relegation for Season 66 will be based on Season 65 results, not Cup results.
What are we playing for?
- Winner earns a spot on the URN team. If Winner already on Urn team, runner up gets spot.
- Winner of the Cup will get 100,000 gold crowns added to their treasury.
- Winner gets boasting rights as the Bob Borc Cup Champion until the next one is run. Plus no other coach will ever again be the first Bob Borc Cup winner. Legend!

It is a one-off benefit, only really helps the paper teams which struggle with the artificial CRP Spiralling/Cash system anyway, so I don't see the issue?
Much better than giving stats, sponges, mutations etc as the Ranked tournaments do. |

And just like that we were out of contention like tears in the rain...
I told you all that the end of my season was going to be harder than my start.
Looking at my predictions so far the only things I have gotten wrong are that Pjj's Colour of Money managed to sneak a draw against D_arquebus' Chaos All Sorts instead of losing AND Semi and the Fun Police have managed to beat Suttbutt's Hostile Kiddies instead of drawing. |

Squeaking as one with basically two chances of winning the BBC (and lucre) - none and Buckley's - I think that the cash prize is a good idea, for exactly the same reasons expressed by Semi. |

An all-HEROES matchup to kick-off the final round of the We Fink Wer Orks Conference.
The Sentinels have the title in their hands, will they let it slip through their hands or will they claim the first HEROES conference title since SWL 46?
Griffon Gate Sentinels vs SWL Jeagers
8:30pm, Tuesday 19th. |
