We were talking about expensive mistakes and there was no mention of seasons in your post. |

Expensive Mistakes happen after each game (or so i understood).
Harald might had mistook EM for the end of season rebuy-thing (you get money for games and stuff you made during season and have to rebuy players for next season). |

It certainly causes some lopsided games. My rookie team got to fight Morg and Chaney (and they only won with rolling two sixes on turn 16) and then have Hack'n'slash and a fistful of bribes in the next game.
It is nice to know we have a week to spend cash; I had best make sure to play a game or two with all my teams. |

Seasons is maybe another story though, but for another time. |
The question is, how did having 1,000,000 gold hurt in any way, shape or form? |

It will hurt if there's no petty cash, meaning teams can use it to gain an unfair advantage in their games. Such as the game I just linked. |

For sure having 10,000,000 in the Treasury hurt some opponent teams of the millionaire team recently.
In tournaments and leagues having huge sums helped to keep the team up and running when it lost players.
In MM having millions stored could help the slightly underdog millionaire team to buy a Wizard or another inducement.
Example:
Millionaire team A is 80 TV underdog;
Team B is 80 TV overdog but it has only 90,000 in Treasury.
Team A buys a Wizard, team B gets the difference, 70,000, to spend, it can induce only a Babe.
Team B gained an advantage that can't be countered by team A and thanks to his huge Treasury may keep on doing it in other matches with small TV differences. |

Can't we temporarily turn off the "inducement money doesn't add to TV" option until Expensive Mistakes are there? Coaches can still spend their treasuries in time, but they create way more fun games by giving their opponent's inducement money, too. And if they don't want that and rather take the risk of losing their money soon, that's their decision. Having a choice is good (and not spending the money right now is a rather bad choice). |

Could using this advantage be seen as bug abuse? |
