I understand fully about team background. And I wish a way presents itself for us to transfer the actual team, with wathever fluff and old game stats they have. BUT players would be gone and theyd have +1M gold instead.
Anyways a tag would be nice on ALL old teams, as I would probably refuse to play those out of principle  |

According to that pole:
28% is for the transfer of LRB 4 players to FFB
and
63% is for either Team name transfer (0 players and 1000 gold) or completely fresh start
And the last 7 percent is either Fulham fans or have other ideas

One step closer to a move to the new client so it is 100% positive news to me.
Edit: And I think having grandfathered players just opens up new options for bounties and similar fun activities. We could have honorary awards for culling Ogre teams, removing team traitors, etc. There is always a way to make it fun. |

and it's this mentality *EXACTLY* that helped cause such a split in the fanbase in [S], and look what happened there...
tagging grandfathered teams as such is a ludicrous idea, and just encourages people to avoid those teams for some inane idea of "principle"...

Well imo a team name transfer is a clean start (due to no players being transfered). But is really only for the team name transfer to let the few (20 teams or so) Epic teams inhere keep their names. Personally I have no teams I would want to transfer for their history or fame (in here). So only took that option to help out others - since it provides no problems playwise. |

sounds like the best plan this.
the old teams will adjust and afte a few months no one will see a diff between most old teams (that actually pay) and the new ones.

First off you do not know that - and secondly FFB has ALREADY taken over the spot as the division with most played games from Ranked. (the last few weeks it has)
That is like saying your voice should not be heard since you only have 174 ranked games and I have 10 times as much - that is really not the way the world works |
