To take the bait here, there are a few contributing factors.
1. My team is pretty one-sided. It does what it does very well, but not a lot else.
2. I really need some stats.
3. We came equal 1st, (2nd on tiebreak) a couple of seasons ago. Not that far off the mark.
4. Elves are a bad match up for me. I have 4 elf games this season. I put in my predictions that this would be a shocker season for us. I didn't realise I'd be fighting the establishment as well as all the elves, but there you have it.
5. You need a smidge of luck in a prem campaign & this season hasn't been great for us. For whatever reason some games we do 7-8 cas, and some we do 2 or 3. The more games in the midpoint, the better.
6. Now that I am getting competent, I'm realising how long the rebuild will take to get the team to where I need to be if I want to do things other than those in point 1. |

+AG on the new pogo would be nice, that's for sure. As to my excuses for coming last in the regional again ... I know you're all amazed to hear that, but here it is.
1. My team is pretty good for what it is. I don't really play them very well though.
2. I don't make good use of the stats I have, more for whatever looks funny at the time.
3. In one of my seasons, I didn't come last, I came second last instead. Go me.
4. Tackle really hurts this team. There was 2 games without it and I tied them both, lost the rest.
5. You need a smidge of luck every single turn with these guys. That almost never happens.
6. I think I'm probably getting worse with them, as much as they are themselves not a lot better than the inducements they get for being smaller.
But still, we are some big-ass scary Goblins, and we get a few TD and cas and a whole bunch of fouls, which is what really matters here in the SWL. Go Dirty Pool, bronze boot! |

I am rather sorry to hear those 2 rats dying, they were so annoying to play against that it was pleasure.
I hope replacements will get +AG's and +ST's a plenty... |

Thank you, Dlock. No greater honour could be afforded to a rat than to acknowledge how annoying he was.
But with their deaths, the spark of my passion for Rat-ball also died, and while Simon is a Legend in the making, I have decided not to return as coach of the Rodents next year.
