Just to try and make things clearer:
Lrb4 teams will have option to migrate to FFB.
If you don't want to migrate your teams you don't have to.
The items quoted in the top post are what Christer said is going to happen. If you want to discuss how & why things should be done differently you can use the thread mentioned above to do so. |

You assume too much, I do indeed have some teams I wouldn't mind keeping, and even some players. I still do not agree a transfer would be a good idea though.
You KNOW people are gonna splot this situation by making teams specifically with a future transfer in mind too. |

Look we all know nothing official has been decided until there is an official post on the topic. For all we know, the chat you quoted could have been modified (not saying that you did, but that is why we need official words from Christer) |

No it is not - I do not even think it would be fair for the REALLY famous teams to get transfered with players and FF.
I do have teams that would break the bowl so to speak. I do have some very competative ogre-teams with alot of ogres that will come over - and I do have the nr 1 passing ogre who have ever been on fumbbl. But I put fairplay over my own posibility to take teams created under different rules over to teams that never would be able to compete.
Look at XFL Ogres - that tournement will NEVER ever in the next years be won by a FFB-created Team. The same with Khemri. Because why on earth should the coaches risk the teams in other games that in those tournements ? |

Ok it's your right not to believe it, but none the less it is what Christer said and a large number of coaches where there to see it. |

uh...no, thomcat...it hasn't...
as of today, 09/11, FFB has had more games played than ranked, exactly 4 days out of the last 30...
on a weekly level, FFB has *NEVER* been frequented more than ranked
also considering FFB's games rank in the 10-20,000 played...ranked is easily in the hundreds of thousands....
but don't let facts get in the way of your opinions
had you made these comments a month or two from now, you'd be accurate....
but as of right now, you're just blowing smoke...

That sounds nice......
But, the new client is not even close to be ready, if you face bugs in normal games that arent really any way "special", how do you think it will handle FUMBBL?
I like the new client, and most of the new rules, this is not really Anti LRB6 speak.
The client just have to be ready. |

Noone is saying the shift to FFB will happend until the Client is out of Beta. And yes there is a long way to go - but it is going forward.
But I would not be affraid it will happend before the client is at least as ready as the lrb 4 javabowl client is. |
