Thought I'd recap on predictions.
Harlequins of Despair Conference
My Picks:

Actual:

Correct, but switched the ordering, Tyra continues to dominate conferences whenever he drops down.
Blackwater Sting Conference
My Picks:
1. Asha'Maniac
2. Wanja Warriors
Actual:
1. Sphnixes from Mars
2. Redgum's Rodents (my wildcard pick).
3. Wanja Warriors
4. Asha'Maniac
Redmaul went missing early on in the season, finishing at 4. The big story was Luo, who tore it up to get a second trip to Prem. Didn't pick that!
Butchrangers Conference
My Picks:

2. Horrors of Skye
Actual:
1. Orcs for Correct Spelling
2. SWL Fun Police
B2K didn't have a team, and Joe underperformed. I thought Matt would need another season to skill up, but I guess you get to win if your opponent throws quad-skulls.
Season LX Premier Division

Nobody stopped the legend bulls. 'nuff said. Beefy went missing, but you can lock him in for another tilt in Season LXII. The wildcard nearly upset the apple cart too! |

Truly though, the new album is selling like sausage-inna-bun when there's an influx of newcomers to Ankh-Morpork. Now someone do me a favour and completely overlook the Sphinxes for a prem win next season, yeah?  |

Gday folks and welcome back to Talkin Bloody
Now that the season is over it’s a good time to reflect on where coach Grumpsh lost the season. This is not only a good example of Do’s from Barre but of Dont's from Grumpsh.
The scene is set at 1-1 and Grumpsh has Barre on the ropes with a significant player advantage which he intends to use to A-foul the Bull Centuar and B-Run in the extra Touchdown to win the game and as it happens the Premier League Title.
Now Grumpshs first mistake is NOT RUNNING IN THE TOUCHDOWN. But Grumpsh assures us he thought he had 2 turns to go and didn't want to allow the Bull Centuar 3 turns to score back. So i guess the first mistake was NOT LOOKING AT THE TURN COUNTER
But as we can see from the yellow lines his second and third mistake is not stalling correctly. Firstly by placing the wight next to the chaos dwarf in the direction that he wanted to go it actually incentivised him to blitz through. By following the Red line he could have made him choose between reaching the Ball Carrier with a dodge or blitz to get near'ish.
Third mistake. The covering ghoul could have positioned better. Like in the red line.
The Chaos dwarf which is St4 btw. Was able to blitz and with 2 gfi's put the ghouls under pressure. If the players were positioned in the yellow circles the only way would have been a dodge and 2 gfi's (he had no rerolls)
Against a St4 dwarf and without rerolls i had 3 choices.
Dodge 3+ to score
1 dice block. 3+ score, 2 doesnt end turn which allows a 1 dice blitz 3+ to score.
1 gfi to get 2 dice needing a push to score. so 2+ req
I went the gfi and didn't make it.
So there you are. Thats how Grumpsh lost prem. So remember keep an eye on that turn counter and if you are going to stall do it properly
