All playing in the PREM! |
That list had 3 other names on it at the beginning of the season - Ariel Harush, Steven Davis and The Duke all killed playing against Bath City Bladuds. |

Wait, The Duke died? Damn, it takes a long time for news to filter down to Conference South level. Congratulations, Royston! |

You know the task is now to make him a greater star in (undead) life than he was alive |

He's going to be the only OBBA player to be Legend 3 times (after he transfers to an Undead team). |

Daggerinhand Redbeards 2 New Orleans Vodou Bokors 1 (OT; 1-1 after regulation time)
https://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=3606539
This was New Orleans Vodou Bokors' rookie debut, and against a tough Dwarf team at that- yet coach Hayati was absolutely delighted with a fine performance that somehow saw the Bokors drive the game into overtime with a regulation time 1-1 tie!
Invariably Daggerinhand Redbeards took the win in overtime after receiving and removing almost every Bokor from the field of play...the Bokors and coach Hayati wish the best of luck in the tournament to coach Shades_SteelFist! |

Hope you guys don't mind me using this thread to ask for advice on a player skill.
I figure those of you who have been in OBBA for a while will have some insight for a coach who is fairly new to both High Elves and long-running leagues.
Ok, the team is - LA Galaxy
and the player is - Josh Saunders, the worst AG5 elf to ever set foot on a blood bowl pitch
He already has AG5, Dodge and Leader (not taken in that order). I don't know who I'll be facing in the MLS championship game (how the worst placed team in the MLS East made it this far is still a mystery). So here is what I am thinking in this order:
Sure Hands - If you saw how many games Josh has cost this team because he failed a pickup and/or used a team Reroll to salvage a fumbled pickup you'd understand. Plus there is some Strip Ball in the MLS
Block - The team could use more Blodgers, as we have one less with the passing of Landon Donovan
Accurate - 32 of Josh's 52 SPPs have come from passing, for 91 paces (that's 1.68 and 4.79 per game respectively). Quite a few of those passes were 3+ due to range, weather and/or TZs. Accurate would make him better at the one thing he does consistently every game.
Something else - Is there a skill I have not considered that would be better than one of the above 3?
Thanks in advance |

I'd do Accurate, then Sure Hands. Effectively having better range really helps elves, and allows you to tuck him back deeper, well out of 2 GFI blitz range. Sure hands makes sense eventually.
You took leader too soon.
I love Josh, he's the favorite player on my team whenever we face the Galaxy. |

Yeah, he's looking like a bit of a dick having Leader, I'm afraid.
Normally I'd go stripball/leap with an AG5 elf, but seeing he has leader I'd be tempted to make him an all rounder instead.
My choice would be Block, as bolding 5ag elfs are fricking annoying |

Oh, he's a thrower (must read things)
accurate, if you use him to pass lots
SH if you use him more as a runner |

Surehands, need to get the ball before you pass it.
AG5, dodge, surehands, pass is very good at stealing scattered balls. |
