Reeborcâ„¢, in association with Cowhead Fashionâ„¢, present the new uniforms of the Wolfenburg Bulls.
The excessive padding on the blitzer was done away with in favour of this new and better fitting uniform.
The Ogre has also had it's false beard removed (let's face it, it wasn't fooling anyone).

4-0 vs Gunners
The last game of the season and we finally won a game. All the training and hard work has finally paid off. Not only did we win but it was against the Gunners one of the other Imperial teams. We beat them last season when we were on equal footing and this time with their coach changing they were still all rookies so we smashed them. Which after all our games this season was a great ending. At one point of the game there were only two players of their team on the pitch so we just overwhelmed them.
We are all celebrating out on the town tonight, we'll get as drunk as the norse men and show it.. Sure school finals are in a couple of days but we had the tri-factor of loss, draw, win in the conference which is a draw higher than last season. That's improvement right!
If the coach doesn't abandon us as rumours suggest next season will be our best yet!
My personal favorite part of the game was when Elrich managed to catch the boom ball thrown by the other side and throw t back at him. The shock on both guys faces was hilarious.
The best news according to the boss.. well Miss Baggs any ways is this season we just achieve an income needed to maintain the team in the long term. With that last game win we managed to nearly sell out of all our remaining mechanise for this season.

Murderous Devils?
by Peppe Bua
Diavoli Apothecary - Drago Mancini
It was brought to my attention that the Tilea Diavoli are under investigation by the CBBA for bringing the game into disrepute. I arranged a meeting with Head Coach Remo Chiappa, but was again brushed off, this time to the basement where I met with team medic Drago Mancini. Drago greeted me outside the door to the team sick bay, but did not welcome me inside. Instead he reluctantly spoke to me standing in the hallway.
Peppe: Dr Mancini, what do you have to say about claims that the Diavoli are unnecessarily violent on the field? Surely, the CBBA as a college sport, the occasional and unfortunate death on the field is to be expected, but the violence shouldn't match that seen in Pro Ball.
Drago: I do not believe that Tilea is special in this regard.
Peppe: You don't think seven opposition players dead is special? No other team in the CBBA comes close. Stallions, Eagles, Panthers are next highest on only three!
Drago: You need to check your numbers. Our good friends the Confederates have killed four opposition players.
Peppe: But still, why the Diavoli high killing rate?
Drago: That is a question for Remo. I think he may say removing players equals success.
Peppe: The Griffins have killed nobody in the past two seasons.
Drago: The Griffins were not successful last season.
Peppe: Tell me about your role in the team. Last season the Diavoli lost not a single player from the squad due to injury.
Drago: This is true.
Peppe: But this season, we've seen a death and the enforced retirement of the key player Carmello.
Drago: Yes, that was unfortunate. But my role is not just repairing current players. I would like to be involved in building new players. The making of a perfect player.
Peppe: That, surely is Remo's job.
Drago: Say you could take, for example, the sure hands of Tariq Ketellapper. The big heart of Peter Polenski, the guts of Hugo Miannay. Combine that with the powerful biceps of Ripertus Missener, the dancing right foot of Jesco Kant, the speedy legs of Engchalas Springblossom, and the agile mind of Gwinhiel Oakengrove. Put together those elements and you'd have a near perfect player.
Peppe: err... don't you have three feet on that player?
Drago: Why limit yourself to the constraints of mere mortals when you seek perfection?
Peppe: ...aren't those players you listed the very same that died at the hands and feet of the Diavoli?
Drago: A coincidence, I assure you. |

True CBBA fans are rooting for the RSU to beat Altdorf.
To save the CBBA becoming a farce, CBBA fans across the old world are wanting the Scorpions to rip up the Griffins in their up coming game. Sure the Griffins are undefeated, but their strength of schedule demonstrates that chicanery is once again manipulating the competition to favour them over genuinely better teams.
Who wants to see a Griffins v Stallions Bowl game? Not the purists based on polling undertaken by the old world press. The Stallions are a joke after their forfeit win in their conference. However a recent survey of past CBBA greats indicates that they are extremely disappointed in the situation, despite many of them being former Griffins players.
So who should be in the bowl? The unanimous call is for the ALU to be there. If the Griffins win then it is up to the commission to see how the Stallions should be bumped to the Ribbon. But to save them from the embarrassment of having to make a sensible decision, everyone is hoping that the Scorpions win and Altdorf is relegated to the Ribbon due to its weak strength of schedule.
On a side note, we have not been able to talk to any ALU players or coaching staff. They are still in morning after the loss of to players in their game against the cheating Tilean scum. |

Glorious Griffins Dominate Sloppy Scorpions
Debby Demonbreeder – Sports Reporter for the Altdorf Daily
The biggest game of the season... A huge crowd... Unprecedented Cabalvision viewers... What a let down!
Laurens Shor summed it up perfectly after his all star performance "I'm dissapointed for the fans. When you have the best team in the league dismantle the second best by such a margin, it must be a huge let down. I would love to have had a challenge out there today, it would have been nice to have some competition to get the heart racing. The pressure was never on. We strolled to another easy victory, this time over our biggest rivals. I'm worried that if this dominance continues, it could be the end of the CBBA."
The Griffins will take the Altdorf Cup and put it back in its rightful spot on display in the trophy cabinet after a 3-1 victory where they took their foot off the pedal in the second half. Now they march on to the CBBA Bowl after a 6 victory season. |

Eagle Eye In Doubt For Bowl
Debby Demonbreeder – Sports Reporter for the Altdorf Daily
The best player in the CBBA may be forced to miss the CBBA Bowl Game decider after sustaining an injury against the Scorpions in the Altdorf Bowl. The Griffins may have to win the decider without their captain, Eagle Eye Klopstock in a huge blow to the team. Klopstock has been the undisputed star of the season in the CBBA and has lead his team to 6 convincing victories. He is widely considered the most professional ready player within the league, with the potential to dominate at higher levels.
Coach Tomay said that his absence would only galvanise the team. "They'll be looking to win it for their courageous captain. If he does miss out, it may be just what the game needs to even it up a little and there's no doubt we will miss him... But no, I'm still not worried about the Mares." |

Three Sheets to the Wind
Marienburg Uni Free Press.. only 3 pfennig
About Time Altdorf!!!
The silver spoon sycophants of the Altdorf elitists have been writing controleren they cannot geld for years now. It's been almost 5 seasons since the RA Guffaws could even win their own inbred conference in a position to make the Championship Bowl game. The one time in recent memory they "drew" ahead of the rest of their feeble conference, it was only to lose to a pack of mangy dogs who were seeing red...
So yes it has been a let down, for all the heavy investors in the college programs in Altdorf, that devoid of the cushy touring leg of the Griffins they all fell away to nothing... |

The CBBA Needs to Consider Legitimacy of CBBA Bowl
Debby Demonbreeder – Sports Reporter for the Altdorf Daily
The biggest trophy in the CBBA has just been awarded. No, it's not the CBBA Bowl. It's the Altdorf Cup.
Regardless of the result of the CBBA Bowl, there is no question about who was the best team in the league this season. The Griffins dominated the entire competition, cruising to 6 victories without even raising a sweat. They surpassed the toughest division (the AIC) and got through the most intense single fixture of the season (Altdorf Bowl). Meanwhile, their opponents were gifted two victories and struggled to victory several times over weaker competition.
It is the belief of many, especially from the legitimate programs out of the AIC that the pinnacle of the competition is no longer the CBBA Bowl. Perhaps its time that a team like the Griffins is just awarded the trophy - they are after all the best team in the league and it's not even close. |

COACH K WAVES GOODBYE TO CBBA
NBC News ~ Your #1 source for Northern Border Confederates news
In a stunning turn of events, the Northern Border Confederates leader, Coach K, announced his retirement at a closed press conference earlier today.
Coach K didn't have anything to say publicly to the press; rumour has it that he's abandoning a rising Feds program to join Apoths Sans Frontières (Apoths without Borders); understandably, as it would be a conflict of interest if he was to continue to coach a program that had borders.
Coach K leaves the Northern Border Confederates with a 7-1-4 record over two impressive seasons.
He was beloved by the people of the Border Princes and will be missed.

COACH K TO STAY IN CBBA?
NBC News ~ Your #1 source for Northern Border Confederates news
In another stunning turn of events, the Northern Border Confederates leader, Coach K, announced at an open press conference earlier today that talk of his departure from the CBBA was 'premature' and that what was said behind the doors at the closed press conference was "taken out of context".
Coach K didn't have anything more to say publicly to the press; rumour that he's abandoning a rising Feds program to join Apoths Sans Frontières (Apoths without Borders) is apparently a media-driven lie straight out of Altdorf. (Coach K has never even studied Apothcaryanism or any of the other Light Arts!)
Could it be that this whole story was made up to meet the CBBA's (rather strict) press release quota?
I'm not sure we at NBC news will ever really know.
But we will raise our glass to the King of the Border Princes!

Erengrad University public statement on great loser ribbon
For winner in CBBA, is bowl. Is nice. Erengrad CBBA Yhetees take bowl first season, in simple display of superiority of wrestle bowl expertise. In second season, many teams copy, wrestlers everywhere, and Erengrad CBBA Yhetees lose one game and also lose great player, so is only great loser ribbon to be having.
Great losers. Erengrad CBBA Yhetees. Is modest celebration, forest of elf team who not even show up for match with full squad, so disrespectful, is only little burnt, rains spoil party. But is bigger welcome home for team, much rioting. Team is welcome.
Kovalenko, Koval, Rutchkin, Knyazev, Yermolayev, also young Kharmalov. Positions assured. Others, team must look toward replacements. Some stay, some go, will see. Third season, no more to be losing games, ribbon is not bowl, imperials must be shown true strength of Kislevites and skill behind wrestle bowl innovations, final season for so many. End statement. |
