Links:
Season LXXXIV
- Schedule
First round will begin on Monday the 19th of October with a first round deadline of the 2nd of November and a round 7 deadline on the 14 of December.
Following the conclusion of the season we will go on an extended break over the holiday period. There will likely be a special holiday period tournament for those who wish to participate.
!!!Team Rebuys are to be completed by Saturday the 17th of October by 8pm. After this deadline the SWLadmin team will indiscriminately cut your team for you.
- Structure
We will have 1 Premier, 3 Conferences and 1 or 2 Regional division(s).
New Rules
- Snotlings
Snotlings are now available in SWL. They fall under the Dynamite RSP classification.
Recently Implemented
- Wizards Fireball and ZAP
Please refer to the guide on the league's page.
General Reminders
- Axing
PM to the swladmin FUMBBL account by 10pm Monday SWL (Sydney) time if your game has not yet been played.
- General
Please be aware that we rely on individual coaches to be active in checking this forum, arranging games against opponents and in communicating with Admins. The responsibility is on the coach to enquire, not the Admins to inform. Please feel free to ask any questions, anytime.
- Communication
Please respect each others time and reply to PMs in a timely manner.
- BB16 Rule Ammendments
We will endeavour to maintain our rules as close as possible to those of BB16 in regards to FAQ and Errata changes, taking into account the nature of our league.
Thankyou to everyone who participated in Season LXXXIII. Congratulations to Lab Rat Elysium for winning the Premiership. Congratulations also to all the Conference and Regional winners.
Welcome all the new and returning coaches, good luck for the season!

Who's got the history of success, a nice easy set of opponent rosters that let them do as they please, and a gigantic starting team with which to crush all opposition before them?
Who, come the end of the season, can we say has choked the hardest!
For the SWL LXXXIV Power Ratings (calculated before any games were played ...)
1: Sharper's Bronzed Raiders. A tough conf, but despite his drop from prem, the toughest team to beat is still the Raiders.
2: Wozzaa's Harlequins. Top two prem contenders, mix suits them.
3: D_Arq's Lab Rats. But both squishy teams can easily crumble.
4: ramchop's Bravado. Speaking of squishy, but surely very bouncy too.
5: Bob's Cult of the Firedrake. Not a big rebuy, but fine form, shame about the prem mix.
6: ClayInfinity's Giants. Top 2 isn't as tough to make for Dwarfs.
7: Balle2000's Didgeridead. While it's Khemri, making prem has still gotta be on.
8: Rabid's Cold Rock. Same problem as the Firedrake, prem mix doesn't suit Lizards.
9: mushoomy's Pugs not Drugs. Still building, prem in reach.
10: HaruHaru's Druchii Dynasty. Top three prem contender, but ouch in round 2.
11: JamesDSF's Flack Ork Flockers. Orcs are so bad.
12: Pyates's Waaaaghton Redskins. Even worse when small.
13: Bojoaph's Corsairs. Dark Elfs, look for them to win their conf.
14: Beefy's More Food for Thawt. Tough road to prem.
15: Foad's Blackwater Cockfighters. Mid table.
16: tussock's Amateur Professionals. Same, but in prem.
17: Boriz's Legends of Azeroth. Underrated roster?
18: Semitence's Gorgoth Heavies. Prem well in reach.
19: Angryman's Crazy Beard Express. Short of skills once there, but.
20: Grod's Skelligen Spoilers. Reggies title up for grabs.
21: knine's Speed Killz. Climbing the rankings.
22: Faulcon's Concussion. Legend coach, plus Ogres.
23: Dustbunny's Fowlers. Welcome to prem, eh.
24: Viktor's Mutated Alliance. New pact.
25: Klazam's Blood Crag Stripes.
26: JPM's Styx and Warpstones.
27: Redgum's Repugnance.
28: pielover's Murder Maidens.
29: BMM's Salute of the Jugger.
30: Dante's Bun Dead.
31: Miyuso's Aspley Boncos.
32: Milk God's Big Boys.
33: Mathfuric's We're Who!.
34: LictorZ's Verminitude.
35: JoeKano's Skye Hoppers!.
36: Felix's Spite and Malice.
37: MrCushtie's Alternative Facts.
38: Shane's Kingdom Decay.
39: Yasmir's Bony Boys.
And we also have Luisito and johneffa and Suttbutt who all missed the cutoff time for making this season's ratings, apparently.
Who's gunna over-perform? Which high-rated coach can you bring down to size? Already there's games gone way against these numbers, but if you win 'em all, there's only a temporary spot at the top for you anyway, plus maybe a prem title or two to go with it. Good luck all. |

Chocolate: Isn't this team sexy?!!
Strawberry: Oh how I long for this team. But I would never be able to field that many spp hogs! They'd always fight!
Chocolate: If only there were some way to gain 242 spp's in one season of SWL. It would certainly be a FANTASY.
Strawberry: Well good news everyone! There is a way to track how many spp your dream team would get! The SWL Fantasy League is back for another round of spp goodness.
Chocolate: Right... now that that's over can I go off script?
Strawberry: Didn't you find that cheesy in a good way?
Chocolate: Maybe cheesy is what we should be aiming for with the Lab Rats winning last season. Boost the ratings?
Strawberry: Since when did you care about ratings?
Chocolate: Since when did you care about me being on a script! We didn't do that last season.
Strawberry: Yeah... we didn't... and how many episodes went of the handle, Chocolate?
Chocolate: Not enough - so we're back for more! What is the Fantasy League? Read below and see for yourself!
===

What is it?
The SWL Fantasy League is a fun way to add extra excitement to spectating SWL. It is a way to compete with fellow coaches by creating fantasy teams out of your favourite players in SWL.
How it works:
-You have a 1200 budget to select players from SWL Season 84 teams. A player's total cost is their positional price plus their skill cost. WTR cost is not included.
-You may spend 1250 on your team if you include a big guy on your roster. A big guy includes Trolls, Ogres, Mummies Etc. This number does not increase if you were to choose more than one big guy.
-Rosters must have between 11 and 16 players
-Only one player from each SWL team. For example, you cannot have two players from Concussion Protocol.
-Maximum of one position type per race. This means you are unable to get 2 Skaven Gutter Runners, but you may get 1 Skaven Gutter Runner and 1 Underworld Gutter Runner. (Yes, that means if you wish, you can field 4 types of goblin!)
-Players must not be hired if they have earned spp in Season 84 of SWL. This means any player that has earned spp in season 84 is ineligible for your fantasy team.
-You may not choose a player from your own SWL team. This is to ensure full focus on SWL. This also means if you are not currently an SWL player, you may still participate in the Fantasy League.
-MVP's are not included in SPP Total.
-Optional: Include a name for your Fantasy team (e.g. The Rookies). Otherwise, enjoy the name that Chocolate gives your fantasy team.

Last Season's Winners
Foad
Cah (Concussion Protocol) - 20spp in 7 games
Bind Soul (Blood Crag Strips) - 20spp in 6 games
Glee Strawberry (Bravado) - 25spp in 7 games
Furiosa (Murder Maidens) - 7spp in 7 games
Mark Donaldson (Amateur Professionals) - 15spp in 7 games
Rudy (Federated Fowlers) - 7spp in 7 games
Vivandi Lidorn (Harlequins) - 9spp in 6 games
Weak (Crazy Beard Express) - 11spp in 6 games
Aeneas (Styx αnd Warpstones) - 24spp in 7 games
Custard (Pugs Not Drugs) - 12spp in 7 games
Anduin Wrynn (Legends of Azeroth) - 15spp in 7 games
Dinglebat III (Trondheim Hammers) - 0spp in 7 games
Total:165spp in 81 games
Strawberry: The team that has accumulated the most SPP by the end of the season will be crowned the champ of the Fantasy League and will take back the Fantasy Cup and unlimited bragging rights.
Chocolate: Last season, Foad took out the title with this amazing team! It's no TEAM OF YOUR DREAMS, but it was enough to take out the top spot.
Strawberry: Please get your teams pm'd to Mushoomy by the end of SWL ROUND 1 to participate.
Chocolate: And if you want to be helpful, send the team using the following format.
Player ID Name Race Position Team Price Starting SPP Starting MVP Starting games
Chocolate: Do note that teams are currently undergoing rebuy process. Some obvious picks may want to retire. Be aware of this and check the rebuy link to see whether the player you want, wants to retire or not.
Strawberry: We're looking forward to having an even more successful fantasy league than the last! To tune into all of the updates, make sure you watch the SWL Channel BB every week, for all of your fluff needs.
