About
First of all, I love this site. I first played 3rd Edition Tabletop Blood Bowl in 1999 for a total of 25 games. My Dark Elf team (my very first team) Underdark Assassins went 13-2 and won the league Dungeon Bowl. My Dwarf team went 5-5 but managed to win the Chaos Cup. Third edition was the day where dirty players were the most skilled guys on the field. SPP's for casualties and even I had a couple of dirty players on the team. Anyhow, this time around online I am going to go another route and play without the use of fouling as part of my strategy. I know for a fact I can hang with the big boys using my own DP's but I think this way puts a nice twist into the game. (Update: 29 Sep '10, I don't do this anymore, but I won't foul you to death. Unless you like it!)

One coach I admire in FUMBBL is tautology. This guy is unreal. I have no idea how he manages to be in the 170+ Coach Rating without tactical fouling but he is. Someday I hope to achieve what he has done (Update: As of 9 July 08, I've done it). Personally, I think it is more skillful to dominate through superior positioning than by taking out the opponent's best players. Perhaps I'll just go the easy route and get me a dirty player like the old days and just pwn that way. Time will tell but for now I'm going to keep doing what I do. (Update: 29 Sep '10, BlackBox corrupted me and strategical fouling is so useful and often times necessary that I have officially returned to the Darkside.)

My Playstyle / Ethics:

Fouling: Don't care, but I will not T16 foul you, unless you deserve, want or need it. :D

Crowd Surfing: Fair game. The sidelines are used for strategic purposes, therefore the risk of getting knocked out of bounds must be there.

Stalling: I think a well executed stall against a team that still has enough players to threaten you and tries to stop you is a joy to watch. I will do it to protect my players or secure a victory even if I think I can score on you a couple more times.

Cherrypicking: Don't care. I am not here to judge you by what games you choose to play. People will choose matches that they think will be fun no matter how they come up with that conclusion. There is a Blackbox Division (Where I play 75% of my games) to counter cherrypicking. Ranked is for picking your battles. On rare occasions, if I don't play you, I probably don't like you.

Play Speed: Average. I like to take my time and not rush through a game. With automove in the FFB Client I hardly hit the 4 min time limit if ever.

Fun Factor: I think that when both players are having fun is the priority for me even before winning. I don't say that lightly as winning for me is fun. However, we have to remember that this is a game first and foremost.

Winning: I play to win. Win = fun for me. However, I wish there wasn't a Coach Rating. I get too obsessed with it and I can't help it.

Black Box: My favorite Division! Everything I said above is pretty much on point for friendly matches, but I foul/stall strategically in the Black Box or tournament games to protect my players and win the game. (man, I think I'm turning to the Darkside once again) However, I have no intentions of destroying anyone's team. My playstyle is slightly different in the Box than in Ranked. (Update: 29 Sep '10, It's official, it's not so different anymore.) (Update: 12 Apr '12, I've been feeling it awhile now but I've become disillusioned with the BlackBox. I'll still play in there occassionally, but not as much as I used to.)

Other: I write Match Reports on 90% of my games. I also will not play you in Ranked Division if I haven't yet played 10 different Coaches since we last played. This is my interpretation of the Ranked Division's rule.
