I've played Blood Bowl on and off since the mid-90s (more 'off' than 'on'), and am enjoying getting back into the swing of things, although my w/t/l ratio tells its own tale about how well I'm doing! It's good though, it's teaching me to think much more carefully about my moves, since they cannot be recalled, and yet, conversely, it's also teaching me to be quicker at decision-making (I'm still a bit slow by Fumbbl standards though, as a warning to any who might be enraged by this).

In addition, I'm really learning how to not get too attached to my players.

And that, apparently, AG5 gutter runners actually mess up agility rolls far more often than their AG4 brethren :-/

I'm keen to play more, but I've got to get around to making a few teams of more varied races; as you can see, I'm somewhat Skaven-fixated, and have certainly yet to master the art of playing with dwarf or lizardmen teams. Trouble is, I've got a bit of analysis paralysis over what team to develop next, and two of my skaven teams are starting to shape up pretty well; ah well, I'm sure I'll get around to choosing something else soon, and in the meantime I'll always enjoy the bare-knuckle ride of Skaven games!
