Murphy's Law
Having managed to live without a mobile Internet connection up till now I finally decided it was about time that changed. Be nice to keep in touch with Fumbbl & avoid the race to get league games played before I went away. All simple stuff you would think.

So I invested in a new Laptop & got one of those new fangled dongle thingie's. Updated the Java, checked I could make the client work on the laptop even bought a new wi-fi mouse!

So off we trundled to Norfolk & there I tripped over Mr Murphy! It seem's that part of Norfolk is in the Dead Zone download speeds of 1 bit per second up to 1 kb a second every half hour or so!

So apologies to all my opponents & league admins I thought I was making things easier but for Mr Murphy & his law I might have succeeded.

PS. I have tested the kit at home & it all works fine here where I don't need it to.

Actually you can get real solid speeds by pigeon; a high-end flash drive can contain quite some data. The problem, however, is the ping.
