It's fun to be #1
... even if it's only in having something silly like "Top Wood Elf Star Player" in Blackbox.
Because no matter how you slice the dice (which sounds a lot cooler than it probably is), it's fun being at the top of some list. Even a minor one.
Sure, it doesn't make you a better coach (or person).
Sure, it doesn't get you laid (or maybe that's just me).
But it does give a little warm feeling inside.
And the bigger the community, the more fun it is being #1 at SOMETHING... even if it's small and insignificant.
Of course this is in no way specific to Fumbbl. In my daily life I can call myself one of the world's leading experts in my field - and even if it's a small, weird field (children's live-action-roleplaying games), it's still nice being one of the world's best at something.
So do yourself a favor. Do something that makes you #1.
After all, it only takes 15 fouls to gain the title of "Most Fouling Active Troll Slayer".

I'm with you buddy. I was just clicking around and discovered I had the number one halfing star in the block box. Such an insignificant feat - but I was tickled pink. Too bad he just aged.
