One Dozen Posts
This is my twelfth post, and as shown by my previous posts, I like the number twelve. So I think it's time to talk a bit more about my plans for this blog.

First, I am writing this blog to help myself figure out Blood Bowl and hopefully become a better player. While I am doing fairly well for a new player, I still notice significant mistakes that need to be corrected. I think format needs work, but I think I will make posts like that one into a regular series. I also like the dozen games series which I will continue with Undead this weekend. I am still searching for other series that will help my learning. If anybody has ideas for a series, please send me a PM.

Second, I am looking for feedback. I have read every comment, and I will continue to do so. The trolls here on fumbbl aren't that bad, and the best comments have given me ideas for future posts. Other comments have veered off topic but have been mostly constructive. I should be responding more often. The community has been very welcoming, and I appreciate the useful advice. Thank you to everybody.

Third, the blog is mostly for my own benefit, so I am hoping to find another way to contribute to the community. I am not sure what I can do, but I have programming skills that might be useful. By the way, is there a more detailed list of bbcode commands? Also, I want to talk about data analysis at some point, but that will need to be in a separate post. Until I am sure where I can do some good, I will try to do no harm.

For now my plans are simple:
  1. Update each Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday evening for my US east timezone(SMWF 1:00-6:00 server time).
  2. Continue to learn by writing about my Blood Bowl experiences.
  3. Create a couple of regular series in addition to my dozen games series.
  4. Read ALL the comments.

Regarding the bbcode, have you seen this?

If so, please disregard this comment :P

That was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks Gozer!

Good stuff and ignore the blog ratings. I find that most people just will vote a 1 for no reason beyond the fact they are fools. Keep it up!

Keep it up sal! Don't mind the votes, it's almost impossible to strike a six. I think your series are nice and refreshing. Please add some fluff!

I like your blog posts, they offer an interesting perspective on the game.

A possible way to contribute would be to condense them into articles for the [url=https://fumbbl.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Sections&file=index&req=viewarticle&artid=13&page=1]GLN[/url], our sadly often overlooked newslettertypethingie. Current person to contact in that regards is Purplegoo (as far as I know)

Keep blogging! I enjoy reading your blogs - these are open & honest questions covering a broad range you are asking. I suspect that a lot of coaches can & do learn from these :)
