I've been looking at my games lately since i changed the philosophy of my games, I've come to believe that defense really is the best offense and especially with my lovely skaven. All doubles a GR rolls means i give them dauntless, horns if possible turning them into fantastic blitzer's.

But it's all because I'm confident that Skaven with at least 9 players can score easily in 2 turns (ignoring failed blitzes, dodges and pickups in the 1st turn) but then the opponent is going to try to come back obviously. Thats where i believe that if you've got your team tailored to defence they've got the upper hand in turning over and scoring again. Add to that their normal offense later and you've got yourself a nice win.

Of course Nuffle likes to disagree with us all time to time but i really believe Skaven should focus on defense and not waste a GR as a 1 turner. Sure you're probably going to score and yes thats essential on the last turn of the half but if your GR's were built for turn overs wouldn't that make the whole game easier?
