Learning Quickly
As the comments on my previous post suggest I've been learning quickly. I even managed to win a match against a fellow new player. He said it was his first match on Fumbbl but that he'd played a lot of the table top game so I feel it was a fair match up. I've ground at least one team to a stand still as well and learned A LOT about tactics/rules/easy mistakes to avoid.

My viking team has only one a single game and has been through hell but I loved every last game! I've decided to retire them (along with the unused Ork team) The reason is I like where the are now and I'd like them to be remembered as they are now. I feel if I go through another game they might end up getting slaughtered again with their AV 7 ! ^_^

My plans now are to create a new team and really stick with it. I'm going to look through the LRB 4 and all the teams they have and try to find one that combines high strength and armor with high move. I know I'm not going to get a team with 9 AV 5 str and 9 move or anything stupid like that but I want to find the right combo for me. Will report back when I've found my dream team ^_^ (Right now thinking either chaos or dark elves but I've not done enough researching yet)

Nice job on the win.

My guess would be go for the Darkies, they aren't that bashy at the start, but I've seen some teams that could lay out some hurt, but they are fast, and reasonably well armoured for a high AG team. I personally can't get into playing Chaos, but I'm sure you'll find out which you like best

Hope to play you some time!

Thanks for the advice.

I've drawn it down between Dark Elf, Dwarf, and Lizards.

1) Lizards give me speed and strength, but not on the same players. I'm thinking of starting a lizard team with a Krox, 6 sauri and 4 skins and just 1 reroll and see how that works out.

2)Dwarf - They don't fit anything I said in my last post. They've got low strength, low move, but heavy armor and lots of block skills. I may go with them and try to hold other teams to 0 scores then try and get lucky by simply out living the other team while my guys knock them all out

3)- Dark elves, just freaking cool all around.

I believe I'll try dwarves again and give them a real go and see how it turns out. There is nothing forcing me to play just them so if after 5 or 10 games I'm not feeling it I Will try out lizards. Then again, I've played dwarves before . . . eh I'll try lizards first since I've never played them :P I can't make up my damn mind haa.
