After seeing Christers blog about testing. I thought amazing I can give fumbbl something other than cannon fodder for the better coaches. But then paramount was the "training people who don't help in the end" and my 3 children excuse gets me out of this homework.

And it seemed a logical time to break from the Legend and actually support (donate) something that has been free to me for nearly 15 years. Sorry made me chuckle that Christers profile doesn't have the fumbbl supporter badge, how ironic after all this.

I found myself wrapped in the excitement for bb2020 pre orders and happily got the wife to order my Christmas version, that I stole the rulebook out of (see separate thread for my campaign against claws on a blitz, its a losing battle but am amusing myself with it).

I sat down with this lovely hard back thing and began to relive my youth after buying the 90s version and death zone. Then after hearing all the comments and the whole passing debacle (not to mention no claws on blitz, see what I'm doing :) ) I thought why have I just given all this money for something I dont play (ofc I will have fun painting the models and repainting what the lovely children attempted to paint, poor black orcs and imperial nobility, and ofc I think all us fans of BB that did miniatures that owned one of the older versions will want an update of the tatty old board now, I digress) when I spend hours on this amazingly appropriate and archaic looking site (please don't integrate that social interaction tool discord as my phone doesn't stop beeping since I committed to it from all the leagues im in now, we have pms and the little clock scheduler im so fond of using that others don't seem to know what it is :) I digress again).

A cold shudder went down my spine as I realised what I'd done. Given a corp a mass amount of money for some little plastic orcs and yet this guy who runs an amazing gaming website (from his bedroom, surely it was back then) unaffected by modernisation that i use daily i had given nothing to..... And thats totally the opposite of who I am.

So to break from the Legend (sorry Christer) and earn my fumbbl supporter or donation badge or whatever its called have a beer on me and thank you and to all that assist you. Sorry im not rich so don't expect to much which I'm sure this site deserves (although not to modernise it ill add)
