1 dice blocks
Whenever a 1d block works, it is kind of viewed as lucky. If you have block, there is a 1 in 6 chance of it not working.

Whenever an AG4 dodges, and doesn't make it, it is viewed as unlucky, but that's the same odds.

Ergo: 1d blocks are not lucky. Rolling a skull on a 1d block would be unlucky.

Cue flames and 1 ratings.

Failing a 2+ dodge is not too unlucky.
Failing a 2+ dodge with the dodge skill can be unlucky, in the same way as rolling double skulls can be unlucky.

Yeah, though double skulls let you team RR or pro, whereas snakes are less forgiving.

Yep, anyone thinking an elf failing a dodge without a rr is unlucky needs more practice. You should be seeking to minimise 2+ with no rr's.

If it's the first dodge of the turn it's fairly unlucky. Seventh dodge less so. ;)

Depends on your definition of unlucky.

Compare to rolling a 1 with gfi when you have already used your rerolls. They always seem to fail. Especially in the endzone!

What is the only double 1 (not counting skulls) that can be rerolled? Armour or injury with piling on..

Rated 6 for rolling 4 successful 1d blocks in a row, turning the ball over, scoring and almost wizarding my best blitzer to death in our last match :D

there is no such thing as luck

only probability.

please work out (your brain)

Probability only exists to tell you how lucky or unlucky you have been.

Is rolling triple skulls with no reroll available unlucky?
Yes, I'm still bitter from lastnight's stunty game >.<

Nuffle knows not these things, "Lucky" or "Unlucky", fore-soothe, Nuffle has an advanced degree in Statistical Analysis.

Also, not any block that does not result in a turnover is a successful block.

Indeed a very interesting view over the subject.
