Well, the Sea Turtles run in the Fumbbl Cup has come to an end, but I'm not disappointed. They made it further than I thought they'd go, and they almost luckered their way through round 3 against a superior opponent (both in his team and his coaching skills). Injuring Hthark at the outset gave me a chance and numerous other rolls kept me in the game. When Pmg scored the equalizer at the end of regulation, I figured I was doomed, especially when I didn't get the kickoff. However, Nuffle blessed me with a OTT after Pmg ground out the 8 turn score. The coin flip went to him, and he deserved it--I can't have all the luck.

Still, the Turtles played 3 rounds without losing, and without having any of their best players killed or crippled. I wish Pmg the best of luck the rest of the way. Now I've got almost a year to build the Sea Turtles up for next year.

All in all, the cup has been the most fun I've had in my 2+ years on fumbbl. Thanks to everyone who's been a part of it. Now I've gotta run and spectate another game and root for more deaths!
