So, Ive been on a long run of bad luck in FUMBBL. Whether its Blackbox or one of the tournaments, just been getting diced at the worst moment when I can't afford it. It hasn't helped in the box that Im playing a bunch of teams that are "left over" before the end of the season - teams I dont really like. I've geared myself to purposefully learn from every game, regardless of the outcome, which has helped. My success/fail graph shows the up and down is less pronounced so I'm making progress. But you can only learn "your opponent cant roll a 1" so many times before it still starts to get maddening.

Before my misfortune really gets to me, I needed to post some things I am very grateful for. I don't want to travel down the road where there's no value in a loss and the heart hardens. The heart always has to be in the right place for anything to mean anything.

I am grateful for fumbbl in general. It's free and has all the rules and we get these neat leagues and tournaments.
I am grateful to all my opponents that take the time to play a game with me. Every minute we spend, we can't get back. And you chose to spend some of those with me.
I am grateful for everyone who kills elves. The garden must be trimmed regularly.
