Here are the coaches who have changed the game and the way it has been played…

Petro'd Arvill 27-29 (REA)
Petro'd Arvill won the first N.B.L. championship and the first Cup-trophy with Reakland Reavers. Arvill was a coach who showed direction to many young coaches. Arvills style disliked star-players and favoured team players. For him, it was a great team spirit that mattered. Arvill was the first professional Bloodbowl coach ever to stand in the dug-out box.

Jyrheim 27-29 (DW), 30-32 (BRI), 34-36 (ELF)
If there is a coach who counts on power, it's Jyrheim. Jyrheim managed to get two championships in a row with Dwarf Giants. He built a total dream-team around the starting line-up (the Three Dominos), and saved some money with the second line-up. That bone-system is named after this great coach. After three very successful years Jyrheim moved to Bright town. A true Bloodbowl legend left dwarfs waiting for a new leader which they haven’t found since. With Bright Crusaders Jyrheim tried different tactics with different results and even Jyrheim could not light the fire in Bright town, but that seems to be an impossible mission. Jyrheim spent his final years in Elfheim Eagles earning the big
bucks. And while the team did not manage to win anything, Jyrheim kept the team fighting in the league with 2 third spots in the league level between 34-35.

Juz von Villa 27-31 (CHA), 32 (ORC), 34-35 (CHA), 36 (REA)
Juz von Villa was the second coach who could win both titles in the same year. Juz von Villa worked hard among Chaos All-Stars and believed in throwing- and running-game mix. According to Juz von Villa, if the team could play with both styles it would be near perfection. Year after winning both titles, von Villa went to Orcland to win the Cup-title. The Raiders could only get 1 point during the season, but the Cup-title was so important to the Raiders fans, they forgave the humiliating season. After that, Juz von Villa returned to Chaos All-Stars and won the championship title again. With the help of Juz von Villa, Chaos All-Stars have won more titles than any other team in the league, until Darkside Cowboys passed them year-61. Juz von Villa did start coaching Reakland Reavers, but when the season was cancelled Juz von Villa retired. He was a true Chaos-Orc coach till the very end.

Power Campaign 29-32 (ELF)
After winning the Blood Bowl cup, Power Campaign had to face the fact that Elfheim is playing their next season in Mud-division. Still the board of the team was behind Campaign and he started to collect a team that would rise from the mud. After the mud year Elfheim was the first team to win the championship from the 2.division. After that Power Campaign raised Elfheim to the finest level of Blood Bowl. He was a really magnificent coach with powerful determination.

Oshmar Brevet 28-32 (GOU)
After a disgraceful first year (-27) Gouged-Eye hired a Oshmar Brevet to handle Gouged towns finest. The contract included one year. After the first year Oshmar won the Cup-title to Gouged-Eye, so the board gave him free hands and that decision was rewarded after four years. Slowly the strong dwarf team kept rising and finally (-32) Oshmar had a change to lift the championship trophy above his head. Oshmar is known for wise decisions and great skills of handling the players. He gave the team just what it needed when they were doing poorly.

Eoarn Harakon 28-35 (LOW)
This coach started his job in Elfheim, but didn't want to continue in Elfheim because the fans pressured him all the time. After that he went to the island of Lowdown. Eoarn was an excellent coach during the seasons (Eoarn has won over 20 league games and collected over 50 points during the seasons), but in the playoffs he couldn't do the right tricks to lead his team to victory. After five years of trying, he finally got the puzzle together and won both titles to Lowdown. Gave Lowdown more wins than any other team has, but lost his nerves at playoffs. Great tactical eye. Eoarn was also the coach of the Elf's World-cup team. He won the World-Cup with the Elfs in Reakland-31. He is the COACH around the elf fans.

Juhan F. Grains 38-41 (ORC) 42 (REA)
It is clear that when NNBL started there was one coach who was more prepared than others. Juhan F. Grains had studied the past well and when the league started in 38 Juhan used the old methods of Jyrheim and brought the Championship in Orcland and he did the same thing again next year, just like Jyrheim. Still Juhan F. Grains wasn’t the best coach during the game, but he was maybe the best coach to find talented players and coaching them to be big stars. These are just some of the players Juhan raised: Hermohes, Janne Pietari, Nyrkki Silmä, Crossfader and WCP.

Norman Bates 42-43 (CHA) 44-47 (CMD) 48 (H&M)
Norman Bates, the king of coaches. It’s true. The most talented coach that has ever been standing in the dug-out box is Norman Bates. He won the Championship in Chaos All-Stars during his rookie season. After disappointing next season moved to CMD and won NNBL-title twice in a row. Never has Blood Bowl seen such talent outside the field. There is one man that has followed Norman’s teams and that is Blocktord. He was the strength foundation of Norman’s tactics. The one year that Bates played without Blocktord was a complete catastrophe. Norman understood the mistake and it was the next year that they teamed up together again and the rest is history. After Bates left CMD he also managed to win Highland’s first cup-trophy before retiring after winning more titles than any other coach.

Kilpi 50-56 (RTS)
Kilpi just happens to be the only coach who has won three titles and one Cup-Trophy with the same team. He was one of the reasons why Rolling Trolls became one of the most honorable members of the Blood Bowl family and that alone is an achievement that makes one bow to the master. When Kilpi started to coach the Rolling Trolls they were a Mud-division team with no merits and even after their first championship title everyone still thought they were a joke. When he quit coaching the Rolling Trolls were one of the most feared teams and no one was laughing.

Gügü Jüü 55 (BRI)
Won the Cup-trophy with Bright Crusaders and that alone is more than 3 Bloodmoneya victories!

Destiny Halfbone 52-58 (WAR)
Destiny led the Warhammer from bottom to top, from Mud to the Bloodmoneya champions.

Teams

Darkside Cowboys, Skaven team with 5 Bloodmoneya wins in modern era is the most

Reakland Reavers, fearless human team, never won Bloodmoneya

Rolling Trolls hobgoblins and trolls from Chaos Mountain

FUNNBL

FUNNBL is a continuation to a league which was originally played by two coaches (later joined by third member for few seasons) who played against each other with different teams.

We played our first game during 1995 and even though the game wasn’t very good the concept was so cool and made the best kind of fantasy world true. The goal line decorations made our imagination fly and we did all kinds of teams for Elves, Dwarfs, Humans and Orcs. Miniatures were gotten from other fantasy games, Kinder-eggs and whatever we could find.
We decided to play the game in 6 vs.6 format and simultaneous turns, which was handled by our self made controllers. It worked like a charm. The game got so fun, exciting and unpredictable that what ever happened it was pure enjoyment and perfection!

Although we were only 2, we decided to play an open league format where each of us would coach a team and act as an opponent for each other. We were not the ones building the teams, that was done with dice and luck. Teams had different races in them. So an Elf team could have an Orc as a player too, although it was not as common. So it was not about us winning, but more kind of us enjoying the world and it’s teams. It speaks volumes that we played the game just for the fun as there went like 25 season for either of us winning the Bloodmoneya (our Super Bowl). The game and the world in it meant more than winning!

But now we found out that you can do your own things in Fumbbl (THANKS CHRISTER!), so we decided to give this a try as we got 8 friends playing, so it will be something different. Teams will be mixed with different players and color like no other league!

B.L.O....

...during the year -26 after watching many not so organized Bloodbowl games two wealthy businessmen founded a company with the intention of starting a Bloodbowl league. These businessmen haven’t presented themselves to this very day. The plan was for the league to cover the whole Juymakalone continent. These ideas finally came to life at the end of the year -26 and legendary Blood Bowl League Organization (B.L.O.) was formed.

B.L.O. is no bullshit business operation, with intention to make wealthy even wealthier by being the "fair" League Office for teams, guaranteeing once in a lifetime Blood Bowl experience and making money while entertaining the masses.
