“The Eagles, with their long history of struggling against Elven teams, took on another pointy eared side in what would turn out to be an exciting, attacking game. The Eagles hung in, getting casualties as and when the chance arrived, and were fortunate to pick up a fumbled throw in the final turn to score the winner TD. This game was so exciting that the fans are starting to return to the Tunahide Canning Arena. Many observers wonder if this was a single oddity or a new direction in Eagles football.
