Third time these teams have played.

Handicaps were:

It Wasn't Me (leaving me with 2 tacklers)
Iron Man (on his AV6 Blodge Sidestep Tackler)
Extra Training

Well this game was very uneven on paper, with the Guardians only having 12 players, with only 2 Guard, 1 Tackle and 3 Sidestep (vs 3 Guard, 3 Tackle, 5 Sidestep and a Diving Tackle).

However, the Woodies at Trieout could do nothing right for most of the first half whilst the Guardians made all their rolls, even having 7 RR left (a bonus on kick off) after 6 turns!

The Guardians scored early, Trieout replied and then the Guardians scored again with a bit of luck to take the score to 2-1.

With one turn left, a Quick Snap set up the Woodies at Trieout perfectly to get their player 2 over the LOS and they blitz dodged their way through the weak Guadians defence (I had to field 2 Catchers without sidestep).

Second half it was 2-2 with the Woodies at Trioeout with the ball. Again the dice were unfriendly and this let the Guardians get a 2 dice blitz and the ball was stolen temporarily.

Some greed by the Guardians gave the ball back to the Woodies (I passed with no RR when I could have run defenders back instead) and the Woodies got the ball back and scored.

In fact on another play by the Woodies, the Guardians had stolen the ball and again lost it by trying to pass when they could have tried to defend it (as it was, he only got Pushes on his 2 dice blitz to shove me from the fumbled pass so he would have had to reroll it if I had held it, plus had more players nearby to catch the bouncing ball).

A Perfect Defence against the Guardians on their last drive put them under enormous pressure as they used a RR early picking up the ball.

In the end, with no RR left, they were able to make a 2+ Catch with catch reroll and make a 3+ pass and 2+ catch to salvage a draw out of a game they should have won after all the Trieout's bad luck.
-----------
A very tough game with only 1 Tackler and him having so much Sidestep. However, he had horrid blocking luck and lots of 1s costing him rerolls so I really should have won that game if not for my greed twice when I stole the ball off him and tried to pass without RR.

The above mentioned luck also includes causing some block cas on him to get a slight player advantage whereas we did not get worse than stunned all game.

With even dice, he would have won this game easily - as he said, he picked me heh, but the dice were really cruel today.

We also got an unwanted MVP on our 73 SPP AG5 one turner and he age niggled. Bring on the XFL!
