“A fun match as was expected with Ogres v Humans. They had their own Ogre, some agile and skilled ball handling players plus a couple of threatening blitzers. First half Los Presidentes received and surrounded 3 Ogres and then knock them down. Bulldog was foulded but is made of tougher stuff. We repositioned and Big Daddy charged forward. A skull from a 1db meant WH Harrison who had run back had no chance to pickup. Big Daddy got closer though the other Ogres did little. Harrison dropped! Then 3 Ogres in a row boneheaded. Big Daddy rerolled and then failed his gfi on the blitz attempt! Harrison was still in his endzone, he picked up but was tripped by Brat. Big Daddy then was dumbfounded once more so the Brat had to take the chance and scored the first td.
As some humans advance Harrison dropped again. We advanced but suddenly he showed his talents with a great run and long pass over to Madison. (I only just noticed it was actually a missed pass but it scattered 3 times back to another teammate!!!). Madison briefly stalled but then had to escape the Bulldog's clutched to equalize. Quite a few snots were taken out by now.
We couldn't score another in the remaining turns as Lord Lucan fumbled a tricky pass but Giant Haystacks did crush blitzer Abraham Lincoln's back beneath his bulk!
Second half there was a riot and a touchback that went to Bill Regal. Now we started to show our strength though the bonehead moments kept showing. Haystacks brutally took out Millard but the apo saved him from death. After causing many kos only the ogre and a blitzer were left when Regal scored the winner.
Final turn we blitzed and Bulldog took out Millard again! This time he stayed dead. Probably just as well for the humans to lost the bloated m5 man.
After the match we thanked our fans for sticking with us through our first half stupidity (saved by a snot) and went to calm down the angry Bulldog. Fun game.
