“A great play in the second half saved the Wrestlers from defeat in this match against a tough Khemri outfit that included an S6 guardian.
First half snotlings wee being picked off by Blitz-ras at will. As a Thro-ra easily advanced away near our endzone there was a shock kill. Yes the niggled Bulldog was finally killed after taking another beating. This time from a bone crunching foul. The apo shook his head at the damage and could do nowt to save him. The Bone Drag0ns scored by half time despite Les Kellet and Kendo giving the carrier a worrying moment as they both dodged and lunged after him.
On our brief chance to receive before half time a skel's neck was broken by a rock! But plenty more where they come from.
Second half Jim Breaks took the ball and strided to half way before handing it off expertly to Kendo. But alas Kendo then forgot what he was doing and stood exposed as a Tomb Guardian barged him down. With things looking desperate as Les and Haystacks lay dumbly taking fouls (and Kendo stupid again) Little Lord Lucan decided to grab the ball. He saw Big Daddy ahead and sent a perfect short pass into his path. Big Daddy caught and then loped off in delight. The skels couldn't stop him from blitzing the last defence and he got that equalizer.
In response a Khemri thro-ra fluffed his pickup and Haystacks charged in. Both sides failed to pickup but the Thro-Ra finally got it. Kendo saw the danger, came over and ko'd that idea out of his head. There was still time for a Khemri pass attempt but it was too much to ask. Good game, go Ogres!”
