“Our 5 game unbeaten run was a thing of the past here as we were well beaten by these humans returning from semi-retirement.
In the first couple of turns Big Daddy badly hurt one journeyman while Haystacks and Kendo killed two others! Such rage. Les had the ball and it was a great start. Alas the humans rallied and started picking off snots while our Ogres were satisfied aleady and stood around dumb. The humans seemed to knock us down with ease and Les was also relieved of the ball with a strong blitz. Lucan recovered it but appeared to be killed from another attack! The apo saved him (unusually helping a snot) with miraculous work. The humans then scored easily. We came off badly in a fouling exchange end of the half with Big Daddy hurt.
The Wrestlers still had similar numbers to our oppos second half and did cause more damage as Haystacks injured their master fouler (who also was saved from death) but we didn't have the pace or wit to stop them passing their way through.
Jim Breaks took out a couple of cocky humans near the end of the match and for that final show of hitting his attackers he was awarded MVP. Les then finished things off by hurling Little Lord Lucan forward. He landed well and just scampered into the endzone before the final whistle! Fun game.”
