“Blood Sea Buccaneers won the coin toss and chose to receive. Their Catcher, Dez, picked up the ball and orchestrated the offense. The Human offensive line was doing well slowly whittling away Sudden Victory's defenses. Elbereth was badly hurt early by Gromstomp. The Ogre roaring in victory as the opposing Team Captain was carried off the pitch. That seemed to reinvigorate the Elven forces as they gave chase to Dez all the way up the field where Amaranth was able to tackle him causing a fumble. Joseph scooped up the ball and found Jester wide open. He would run in the touchdown just as time ran out in the first half. Coach Painstate was heard muttering, "I saw that playing coming three turns ago."

SV received in the second half and they sent receivers up the field. Joseph was back to pass and completed a nice spiral to Kensai. The Catcher would run in a quick touchdown as a Human defender fell over trying to block his path. BSB would answer with a quick striking touchdown of their own to keep the game close.

SV received for the last time and Joseph dropped back to pass. He waited for the offense to develop and knew the clock was on their side. BSB felt the time slipping away and finally sent players to put heavy pressure on the Elven QB. Joseph slipped between two defenders and threw a shovel pass to Amaranth. The Blitzer would speed up the right side of the field leaving all his pursuers in the dust. He would score one more time to the delight of the fans.
